Great daiquiris and service! We've tried so far the Strawberry, Pink Panther and Strawberry & Cream.

5 stars for these folks! First of all, the prices, amazing. We are familiar with Rockin Ritas here…read morein New Braunfels, so in comparison, this place was great. The drive through is a little hodge podge, but, it serves its purpose. They have a vast menu, and all the drinks can be made without alcohol. Be careful, the 44oz is massive, and the drinks have a good kick without any additional shots. This place is also safe with how they serve drinks, as they actually seal them in a little bag. Where we always go here in NB, all they use is a sticker over the top. I feel like the bag is an added layer of safety, for both them and those who may be enticed to drink and drive. Once we got to our hotel, we realized that the straws actually change colors!! I felt like I was eating trix cereal again, it was great. The straw turned blue when drinking, so just another nice little touch. I had a strawberry banana pina, and my husband had a watermelon margarita. Truthfully, I might not order my drink again, just because it didn't have that true pina colada taste. I am not sure exactly what dominated the drink, but I would try something else. My husband's drink was spot on, and he really enjoyed it. Overall, we will for sure come back and visit this place when in the area again.

Only one thing needs to be said about this place: DRIVE-THRU ALCOHOLIC SLUSHIES!…read more I feel like that really explains it all. Any flavor combination you can imagine, with any alcohol you can imagine can be made into a delicious, slushie treat - all without having to get out of your car. Win! Win! Drinks are served covered in plastic, since you obviously should not be drinking and driving, but once you get home you break that sucker open and you are in for a treat. This is such a great idea and I am super depressed we dont have one where I live. Add to that the prices are reasonable and the people who work there are super friendly.

The railroad sauce is perfect for the shrimp and the onion rings. The bar needs a better liquor line up but the drinks are acceptable. This visit, there was no bar service as the liquor license is being renewed. Service is prompt and friendly. The ambiance is nice, rustic and quaint but some of the tables need a new finish. Nice place to eat. Try it.

Not a good first experience. Drove from San Antonio just to bring Mom for an early Mother's Day…read moredinner (this place came highly recommended). For starters, their menu was extremely difficult to follow, sides are not listed making it a challenge to put your dinner thoughts together (nothing like website.) I Ordered an onion ring appetizer for the table, I do expect see a little grease on onion rings BUT not so much grease that it literally took handfuls of napkins to strain all the grease. So we decided what about a salad? When it came, my wife immediately saw a long black hair on the top it, draped over the side of the salad bowl. Our meal came and we all were expecting it to be like the website photos but it was NOT! It was cold and greasy, fish had lots of bones, broccoli Coleslaw was very sweet and warm...I am terribly embarrassed that I took my mom to this place! We felt really sorry for the pleasant young lady that waited on us, she was great and did tip her well (she's not to blame for the poorly prepared and food). I thought maybe it was an off night? But every single thing that came out was horrible unfortunately. We surely will not travel all the way here again. Hope your experience was better than ours!

TLDR: Waterfront seafood restaurant (often busy, with a long wait for dinner) with delicious food…read more(still thinking about the pecan snapper and key lime pie). Good kids menu with the option to add protein (chicken or carnitas). This place exceeded my expectations. I did set them fairly low considering this is a touristy waterfront type of restaurant. FOOD: Delicious food here! Large menu too. Good clam chowder -- I only got a small cup but it was generously clammy. My grilled shrimp was good but usually most places can get that right. The asparagus side was cooked just right -- still had that crisp to it. However, the show stealer was hubby's pecan snapper. It was a big portion. The fish was also thick with a nice thin breading. Really dang good. I don't often grab dessert but I'm a fan of key lime pie -- their version did not disappoint. Delicious. KIDS FOOD: One of the best kids menus I've seen in a while. They've got a few deep fried options (chicken, fish, shrimp, corn dogs) as well as not fried (grilled cheese or mac and cheese). The part that really stood out was the option to add chicken, carnitas, or bacon to the mac and cheese. I got my son the mac and cheese with chicken on the side and they brought a large plate of chicken! It was delicious diced chicken too -- my son loved it! It was great to have a kid-friendly protein option since it's always fried junk or carbs galore. I should also add that the mac and cheese was real macaroni with melted cheese on top (not that fake goopy boxed type mac and cheese). They offer crayons and coloring paper to keep kids occupied while they wait. WAIT: I see a lot of negative reviews for the long wait. I mean -- it's a popular place, should you really hold that against them? I would probably avoid this spot for dinner on a weekend for this reason. We came for lunch on a Saturday (midday). There was no wait and we got a window table (we requested one). VIBE: Exactly what I wanted. Nice view of the water -- saw lots of fishing boats go by, a cool bird, and even a dolphin! The place is large and full of people but it's also pretty spacious with enough room between tables. SERVICE: Friendly and pretty attentive. BATHROOM: Cool chalkboard walls where you can leave your thoughts. There were some charmingly positive sentiments written in my stall. PARKING: Limited spots right outside of the restaurant but there is a large lot where people park their boats next door. No issue finding a spot there (early Saturday afternoon).

I'm actually not sorry to leave a negative review, but this was one of the most disappointing…read moredining experiences we've had. Don't go unless you're prepared to wait FOREVER. We arrived around 8:00 p.m. and waited about 45 minutes to an hour just to be seated. Once we were finally seated, we ordered a dozen oysters, three waters, two cocktails, and mac and cheese for our daughter. The drinks finally came, but they were incredibly weak. The biggest disappointment was the mac and cheese--it tasted like plain boxed Kraft macaroni, which was shocking for a restaurant. We placed our dinner order and then waited another hour and 45 minutes without receiving any food. By this point, it was 10:30 p.m., and our daughter had already finished eating and was exhausted. Our waiter, Kalen, was actually very polite, energetic, and apologetic throughout the night. He kept checking in and apologizing for the kitchen delays, so I don't blame him, he could have had an upper hand- and gotten aggressive and made an impact on timing. Unfortunately, after waiting nearly 2 1/2 hours from the time we arrived, we still never received our meals. My husband had to go to the front twice to cancel our order because we finally gave up and left hungry. The waiter again was nice but he could have done more and the manager competed our water and our daughters Mac and cheese. When we walked out - she had the audacity to give us a sad face - maybe you should have thought about your feelings while trying to get our food. It was truly a disgusting and horrible experience. We understand restaurants get busy, but waiting that long without food or any meaningful communication is unacceptable. We won't be returning. Other tables were being sat after us and actually left while we were still waiting that had received their food and paid. Extremely disappointed and will NEVER GO BACK.
