It's helpful to see the tiles "in use", and also helpful to note the colours of the grout used with each tile. Overall, the selection is excellent and the staff is more than helpful. There's a wide array of styles, sizes and colours at many price-points. I quickly picked out a tile for my backsplash, but choosing a floor tile was harder. Both Faith and Carol helped me choose my floor tile. I visited twice, signing out out several tile samples and taking them home to stare at over several weeks. In the end, I chose one of the tiles that Carol suggested. There are a lot of tile places in the marketplace and it gets pretty confusing, but I wouldn't hesitate to recommend Centura Tile to anyone looking for tile.

My experiencing in working with various trades professionals is extensive as I have re done 4 homes, and I can confidently say working with Paul was the most unpleasing event ever. First- I was not made aware that ALL the furniture was to be moved out of the house or the start/end time of the job ( ex. my crew will be there at 9 am) . Being in construction this may seem a bit off however I am not in construction and all my other projects/renos/tradesman made we fully aware of there expectations PRE day of construction and this was communicated to me, Adamson didn't bother. Instead I got a lovely phone call from Paul stating that if they were to continue to move the furniture it would be 1000.00 to keep moving it back and fourth to complete the job. One day alone was 450.00 and i needed to confirm that i was going to pay this via text for the job to continue. Also they had moved maybe 5-6 items. I would understand if it was an entire home of furniture but it wasn't. Please have someone who knows flooring to see the job before you sign anything!!! Second- The attitude and customer service is disgusting. Being in customer service myself, I would never/never been spoken to this way in my life. He defiantly took the fact that I was a female to his advantage ( I also have never felt that way) . Luckily my husband is in construction and was aware that all these things are a way for them to make them more money= look better to the big boss. Business world sadly. He was sadly now involved. He was swearing at my husband calling him names and carrying on. He also wanted to charge me 2000.00 extra to complete 1 rip up 2 layers of subflooring and re lay board so it would not squeak- initially he was going to go over this as well which would have made the flooring buckle within 6m-1y Third- He "measured" 900 sq feet and charged me for that amount of flooring. When I had it re measured it was approx. 644 sq feet. Now i understand they allot for "extras" but 250 sq feet worth? That seems excessive. Paul was speechless when this was brought up- once again taking advantage of a female- or so he thought. After the first day I have decided this is not a healthy working relationship and all Paul cares about is money- so i can only assume this company is money driven? anyhow i offered to pay him a fair amount for the "work" completed. Also be aware that i believe they contract there work out as the two men that were working there had on different flooring t shirts? Also a red flag, I wouldn't work with Paul either! Spend your hard earned money anywhere else.

I have dealt with this company through a builder on a new construction. During my inspection prior…read moreto possession I was horrified by the quality of the flooring. There were numerous visual gouges (I stopped counting at 100 in a 900sqft condo) and there were significant gaps between floors so bad that you could easily identify the tongue and groove. Trying to have these floors replaced was a nightmare. There is no pride in their workmanship or care to try to remedy the situation once they have their money.  It took significant pressure from the builder and myself to even have them come and look at the floors and even more to get them to repair the floors. When we moved from the condo and purchased a cosmetic fixer upper, I told my husband (who works in the trades building houses) I was never going to use them for flooring because of how bad their customer service is.  Fast forward 3 years and we are working on some projects and the only place listed as a dealer in the area is Adamson so we decide to give them a try with apprehension. When we got there we discovered that they do not carry that part since they "can't make money on it".  Despite this, we decided to ask some questions about thoughts on aesthetics in installation in hopes that he would lean to one of our opinions and help us decide. Immediately he asked where we purchased the tile we we're working with, then said "you didn't buy anything from me and now you want free advice". That pretty much sealed the deal with never working with them ever again.  Thanks to their horrible customer service we will just travel further to get the hardwood flooring for the remaining levels on our house and the tiles for the two bathrooms. Never again will we consider doing business with Adamson and we will gladly share our experience with those we know which includes well respected custom home builders.

I had been looking for one of these barn style sliding doors and decided to check out a store in…read moreToronto. The owner there said that he could make me a barn door but he fought with me on the colour I wanted to stain the door and the design that I wanted was apparently "not something" he does. I looked online and there was a company out of Utah that I was going to go with, but I couldn't justify waiting for over a month and paying large fees to ship the door and hardware to me, and since their customer service was terrible I didn't really want to give them my money anyway. Then a friend told me about Loft Doors, some place in Burlington that specializes in barn style doors. I went into their showroom and was greeted when I walked in and they let me walk around and ask questions when I actually had some. They had quite a few styles of doors hanging in their showroom, as well as tables, benches, consoles and fireplace mantels that they had made from old reclaimed wood. I showed the guy behind the desk the picture of the door I wanted which I found on pinterest and he said they could build it no problem. I mentioned that I wanted the door to match the cabinets in the kitchen since it would be hanging just outside of it and he requested a sample of the finish to they could match the stain for me. Needless to say the process turned out to be much simpler than I had thought it was going to be because of my previous experiences looking for a door. I picked out my hardware which is all custom made in the same city and when I went to pick up the door it was exactly what I wanted and matched the one I found online perfectly, even the hardware matched. The door looks great hanging in my home and I get comments all the time when people came over. I've even sent some of my friends to Loft Doors to get stuff done they have different style doors for different price points which is great because one of my friends really wanted a door but thought they couldn't because they are too much. Turns out they got a door made and even got the hardware and paid just under $800 for both, and they got to pick the stain colour of their door. The service is great because at no time did I feel like they were telling me how my door had to be or whether I should even be staining the barnboard any particular colour. They supplied helpful advice, warned me of potential issues had I have chosen a different option for my door and they sent me a video for me to install the door myself which was actually pretty easy (took me about 3 hours to install it, but was overall a pretty easy process). I am very happy I found this place because the quality of the door and hardware are better than places I've seen around Toronto, the service was great and they always answered any of the emails I sent pretty fast and it only took me two and a half weeks to get my door and hardware. I would definitely recommend this place if you are in need of getting anything reclaimed.

I recently was thinking about fixing the colour of my hardwood in my hallway that was stained the…read morewrong colour by the installer (it was to match bedroom floors). I called around and got 4 different estimates - 3 estimates were over the phone, but Rainbow was the only company to come out in person and inspect what needed to be done. Fred was punctual, kind, knowledgeable. His price estimate was in line with the others I received, but most importantly, because he came out in person to inspect the hardwood planks themselves, he was able to warn me there was a risk that redoing the floors may lead to ruining what was already there. In the end, that risk combined with the cost for a colour change wasn't worth it for me - but if I had gone with anyone else, I might have had to tear out all of my floors and redo the whole thing.
