David brought up all the dancers in the audience toward the end of the show, and guys and gals of all ages, as well as an Irish dance teacher or two danced together to the delight of the audience. For those who arrived hungry, there were corned beef sandwiches and chips (fries), as well as chicken strips and more. For those who came thirsty, pints and cocktails were available at the bar. The band said the more you drink, the better the music sounds, but I didn't test that out, and the band still sounded great. The only thing I wish had been different was it would have been great to have David Geaney dancing on a raised stage or platform as even with people seated at tables, you couldn't see the footwork if you were even one table back. Then, as the drinks flowed more freely into the later hours of the show, people just got up and stood in front of the people behind them, oblivious that they were blocking dozens of people behind them. We snaked our way up to the wall next to the dance floor for a better view without blocking anyone's line of sight. The acoustics in the hall were surprisingly great, and I look forward to returning again.

Highly recommend - we'll be back again as we enjoy distillery tours and usually have to go to Kentucky for good ones like this.

Their popsicles bring regular store bought popsicles to shame. I don't think I can ever go back now. We had an employee celebration at work this past week since Henry Ford Health System was celebrating their centennial and Detroit pop shop was there handing out free popsicles. Yeah! Normally they're $3. They had a sugar free one available but I opted for the one with sugar. I believe it was blueberry raspberry and it was delicious! It was super flavorful, not overly sweet, and perfect for a hot summer night out. They are smaller than your average popsicle which is a bummer. However, you can tell they're quality.
