We used Two Unique Catering in Fall 2024 for our wedding catering and so glad we did! Working with Arin and the Two Unique Catering team was truly amazing. Arin was very helpful from day one - she was quick to respond to our questions (and there were many!), made sure to be very detailed in her responses and shared great tips for calculating headcounts for desserts, wine, etc., which helped us a lot with our decision making. We actually went into the tasting thinking we had our minds made up for our menu, but quickly realized how hard of a decision it was going to be to finalize the menu selections given how absolutely DELICIOUS everything was! The tasting experience alone was lovely - they set it up like a proper date night and we definitely didn't leave hungry. We ended up making some adjustments and paying a little extra for some enhancements, which was 100% worth it - pro tip: get the short rib and don't sleep on the lobster ragu for the salmon! On the day of, the catering staff was also wonderful to work with. The catering team captain, Channel immediately introduced herself and made sure my husband and I were taken care of all evening by hand delivering us appetizers, a full plate of food, drinks or anything else we needed, including a to-go box of treats at the end of the night. We also received MANY high praises from our guests relating to the friendly staff and how delicious the food was. Took some time to write this review after working with local attorneys to decide how to proceed. Unfortunately decided not to go to small claims court since we live out of state. Cancelled a wedding due to COVID eight months in advance and received no compensation back. All that was done by Two Unique was an invite for us to try a in house tasting which I'd happily pay for. For no services rendered and to keep funds when an event is cancelled so far in advance with little to no incurred cost to the business, I think is just poor service to the community. read more

I wish there were a higher rating that I could give to Two Unique because they deserve it. I worked with Adrienne for my June wedding and she was the bomb! Anyways friendly, courteous, and happy to give good suggestions. I'll admit that they are on the pricey side of things but well worth every penny. My husband and I had a strolling dinner with three food variations. We also had butler ordorves. Everyone at my wedding raved about the food, even the negative Nancy's. The service was impeccable. I used them for linen and chairs which were perfect. They also did our bartending and made some strong drinks! We had our wedding catered by Two Unique at MOCAD and everything went off without a hitch. Two Unique's staff were very professional and the hosts made sure the wedding party and guests had everything they needed. Several guests even asked who the caterers were, due to how kind and helpful the staff were. At the end of the night, they helped package everything up, and also help set up desserts we had brought in. As for the food, it was delicious. We had the salmon and beef filets for our entrees, along with clean green salad and some pasta. Nothing but good feedback from our guests regarding the food. He brought over this Cajun shrimp dish from here recently, and it was one of the most flavorful and delicious shrimp anything I have ever had. We hired 2 Unique to cater our wedding, and it was one of the best decisions we made. Seven months later and people are STILL talking about how good the food was. We are both vegetarians and we wanted a menu that was diverse (lots of small plates rather than two heavy entrees) and omnivorous (but truly so -- we wanted more for non-meat eaters to eat than salad and spaghetti). 2 Unique worked with us where other caterers seemed confused, or outright scoffed. And the result was delicious! Spicy corn relish, perfect tabbouleh, grilled vegetables, black bean cakes, quesadillas, kabobs, fresh breads, and a dessert bar so beautiful, no one noticed that we skipped the wedding cake completely. Our coordinator Carolyn was outstanding. We chose a bare-bones venue that did not have any dishes, glassware, linens, or a staff, but Carolyn made everything easy for us. The bartenders were delightful, our service was impeccably professional, and set-up / clean-up were a snap. Carolyn was even able to hook us up with some pretty twinkle lights for the windows for a crazy good deal. 2 Unique really made us feel like VIPs and for the tremendous service they provided, their rates were a great value. Shona guided us with all things food, ordering tables and chairs for both our ceremony and reception and really helped us plan a vision for our reception theme. We hired Two Unique to cater my son's wedding, scheduled for March 20, 2020. Then the Coronavirus struck and everything was cancelled. We decided to use the caterers new venture, Home Delivery, for the immediate family that were still coming. I'm so glad we did. Everything their chef prepared for us was just delicious! Every dish was artfully presented, including a beautiful tray of mini desserts. The incredible part about this experience was the way this company pulled all of this together in just two days. We found out on Tuesday that the wedding was cancelled, and by Thursday Carolyn had put together a new plan, using all the important components that we originally wanted. Two Unique catered our wedding this past weekend at our home and they certainly did not disappoint! The staff (Christy, chef Greg, Nicole, Sharon, Liz, Reece), and led by Shelah, were top-notch and SO nice and personable! So many of our guests commented on how wonderful the staff was as well. Even when the downpour of rain came, the staff improvised and was so accommodating, even down to the little details like shielding some of our guests with an umbrella as they made their way to the food stations. I know everyone has given this company rave reviews but I was disappointed in their service. The preplanning was great but the day I was to pick up my food, they were 15 minutes late. I was panicking because I had to get to my meeting and was scared I would have no food. Finally someone arrived and mumbled something about someone not showing up. I had to wait another 10 minutes because everything wasn't ready. The person did apologize but I never even received a follow up call. To our knowledge their staff was fed and if there were still leftovers no attempt at using The Crofoot facilities to preserve the food was made.
