Came here last year (2022) and it was wonderful, but it is utterly disappointing this year. Less lights, more lines, less fun. The train ride is 3 minutes and 30 seconds (timed it while waiting in line) and that goes through all the lights. At $5-10/person this could be worth it, at $20/person this just isn't worth it, especially if you have children over the age of 5. Love this place! I came here with my boyfriend last year and again this year and it makes a super fun and affordable date night. Lots of different options for sweet treats and so many activities to do in addition to walking around and admiring the lights. We thought the train ride and candy cane maze were really cool! Pretty, but otherwise disappointing. The lines for every attraction were at least 45 min. 45 min to ride a 15 second slide. The maze had a map so it essentially worked out to waiting in line for 45 min, then walking in a line through the maze for another 25 min. We even had to wait in line to get out of the maze, because it ends in a photo opp. Would've been another 20+ minutes but we did not care that much so kindly squished our way out the side to leave. If there was no map then it would've been much more dispersed as people tried to figure out the route, there were too many people to have a map it was no longer really a maze anymore. We did 3 attractions (grinch lair, slide, and maze,) and were there for over 2 hours. Everything was very inefficiently run and because the overall space is so large, they feel they can sell more tickets because people will "fit". The fast pass would definitely be worth it. Also, no matter what ticket time you have, get there incredibly early. They only have one entrance and you can't even enter from both directions of the street so if you're coming from the wrong way, really really tough luck for you. I hope you have a good turn radius on your car and can cut in to the line! read more

Best Christmas event our family has attended in years! The Grandkids absolutely loved it!

The candy cane maze was so much fun for our girls. You can go through it more than once! They had food available, games for us to play and plenty of photos ops! We were so excited to check this place out & unfortunately left disappointed. Don't get me wrong, there we're beautiful lights everywhere with a-lot of photo opportunities however with the price to just get in I did not think it was worth it. Food was pricey (really snacks) - s'more pit that was insides you had to purchase the s'mores. The bungee jumping was down and the candy cane maze - some of the lights were out. Santa toy shop should have been included at least with how expensive everything else was. We had about 7 kids so it adds up. To add & clarify - military discount is only for the person who served so not even their dependents (this is not clear on the site). I really want to love this place but it's so hard, I can't this year. Last year was fun but had to pay for everything inside. This year, there are much more attractions included in the admission but the line to get on them were so long. Train is a long wait plus shortest ride, bungee thing we waited for 45min and gave up because there would have been 30 more min of a wait. 3 min jump time per kid +2min of strap in seems a little too long when they are 30kids waiting to jump and fast pass keep coming in. (They were doing 1kid from fast pass and 1 from the line of 30 kids ) so I gave up. As a Military Spouse I found it utterly heartbreaking and a wee bit disgusting that if the Service Member is not present a family may not utilize the $2 off Military Discount... with deployments and trainings the majority of my husbands 25 years in service was away... we always supported businesses that supported the Military and their families and after watching the way a young Military wife was treated here at Desert Farms no amount of sparkle or coco deliciousness makes up for the reminder their Airman was not here... with my Soldier now retired we see how many companies on use "we support our troops" as a simple marketing ploy not their reality!! Per other comments, the logistics of this event was terrible. Parking was extremely long. They have you pick a time but it doesn't seem like they cap it so everyone is just coming all at once. Everything that comes with your ticket is an hour wait. The light maze included a map so we waited in line for an hour only to walk in a line through the entire maze. I don't recommend this place at all. The supposed owner "Jordan " and the lady who knows who she is called "Channel" were so rude to me and my family. I have a service animal and When we got there no one told me there were no pets allowed inside the farm. They let me pay even though they saw my dog. I walked in with my family and one of the staff approached me and told me "No dogs in this place" I explained to her that it was a service animal and she told me that my dog needed to have a vest. I explained to her that By law any service dog is not required to have a vest. she said that it was fine to stay just not to let anyone pet the dog. Minutes later the "owner" Jordan approached me and my family that we needed to leave the farm or he was going to call security or someone to escort us out. He and "Channel" didn't want to listen to what I was trying to say that my dog is a service animal. We traveled from San Diego to come and see this place and they a horrible customer service. read more

The logistics are not figured out making this a really poor experience. Be prepared to wait in lines worse than Disneyland, except it's not Disneyland you're even waiting on. To start the night off, we spent 30 minutes trying to park. There was no one directing traffic so cars were coming from every direction. The line for the hayride was an hour wait plus a $12 fee. The ride itself was only 5-10 minutes and it was very dark. There was one tunnel of lights and a few decorated trees and a few reindeers. THAT WAS IT!
