The smell of mold / mildew / must was bey9ond comprehension for a place that isn't condemned. There was a damp towel hanging on the back of the door - when we first entered the room!!! Hairs and wrappers on the bathroom floor. Obviously had not been cleaned. However, the second day someone definitely came into the room because the mirror had been wiped - with a dirty rag which left the mirror completely unusable. The same hairs and wrappers were left on the floor. The bed was not made - so obviously there were not in there to clean it. I think maybe personnel use that room for their own use as twist ties were in places they were not the night before and in the bed was the bottle top and secure wrap from a bottle of water. Did personnel use the room while we were out? I slept in the truck. No way was I going to sleep in the room. Only used it for the shower. There are no outlets in the room. There is one power cord that has 5 things already plugged into it. The tall lamp and bed side lamp can't be used because 1) there are no plug ins not being used on the power strip and 2) you'd have to move them closer to the power strip. I have stayed in some bad places over the years, but hands down this is the worst. Super 8 should be ashamed to have their name associated with this place. Lastly, personnel walked into the room before my husband checked out. Did not knock. Just walked in. We were 3 hours before checkout, so it wasn't an "overstaying our welcome" kind of thing. Along with there is no welcome at this place. They also leave the door propped open. No, it wasn't a guest, it was hotel personnel. We took our clothes / bags to the laundromat because we were not going to risk taking anything into our house. I do not need bed bugs are vermin from the Super 8 coming to my house.
