Came here as a party of 4 and luckily had made a reservation so got a table by the window…read more For drinks got the elderflower lemonade with no ice which was a mistake as it was sickly sweet. I ended up adding fair amounts water to soften the sugary taste down a bit. However encountered better luck with the choice of our food as both starters just blew away everyone on our table. We decided to get both of the Sharing Boards and oh gosh, brilliant decision as the food was excellent! 1) Bao Bun Board: just super delicious. I liked the crispy hoisin duck more than the BBQ pulled pork, and also liked the self service aspect of this (you had to make your own Bao bun). Really appreciated that they served generous amounts of the stuffing elements for the bun and all 4 items just complemented each other. 2) Age Board: the blackened chicken and tempura cauliflower bites were amazing! As were the accompanying sauces. The duck spring rolls were okay, but definitely for our group the chicken & cauliflower won when it came to tastiness. The cauliflower bites especially just super crisp while the chicken was so moist and with just super delicious spices! We should have stopped there and ordered dessert instead next, but we didn't realize so had also ordered mains! I got the Shio Ramen; other members of our group got the Bibimbap with Shrimp; Kung Pao Chicken; and Chow Mein. Btw, if you are worried that the menu selection seems all over the place when it comes to Asian food with Japanese, Korean, Sichuan Chinese & Hong Kong being represented with the menu choices our group made, I want to reassure anyone reading this review, that the food is tightly focused and the restaurant is Pan-Asian rather than Fusion Asian cuisine, so it all tastes fairly authentic. I had a taste of the Bibimbap and it was deliciousness! I think I might have enjoyed my Shio Ramen more if I wasn't already massively full from the Entree's. However if I return back to the restaurant, I won't get this ramen menu item again - I wanted a wee bit more vegetables plus the broth was a bit too bland for my taste. I put in copious amounts of dark soy spice and chili oil to spice it up. I also don't think the taste of the semi-cured chashu pork belly as the protein in the ramen was all that great. Don't get me wrong, the pork tasted delicious, but I wanted more of the fat to be present and mix with the ramen broth and instead it was more smoky taste elements. Overall however, service was great and as mentioned previously, those two starters hit it out of the park. I'd definitely return and get those two tasting boards again! Yelp 172/ 2019

Having opened recently, I was expecting to dine in a largely empty restaurant - void of atmosphere…read more However, upon visiting, I was enthralled to see how popular the restaurant was. This created a warm atmosphere which matched the modern decor. The seating and furniture was not an issue. Comfort was paramount and the restaurant was not overly crowded (as one would expect from a converted pub). The drinks menu is vast - particularly the selection of wines. The beers however did not have this variety - but the choice is satisfactory. The spirits list is sizeable - from well known brands to several types of Martini. Having ordered a multitude of drinks on my visit - I praise the bar staff for their quick service. With the restaurant full, service was a little slow as expected. The chicken and lamb in the appetizer platters were a little over cooked although the fish was aperitive. The main courses (for all 7 of the party) were all brought at once - and each at a suitable temperature. Each dish was carefully constructed and were nothing other than delicious. The curry did not have the taste of a heavily manufactured dish - but one that tasted as if it had just been created from scratch using fresh ingredients (otherwise known as home-cooking!). The management politely visited the table several times and we had nothing but compliments every time. A round of Gaelic coffees on the house were served after the meal. This restaurant deserves to be widely acclaimed - and I have a feeling it will soon be.

Was fairly quiet on the day I went. Me and my missus went expecting something great, but its just like a normal pub. Prefer my local better. Wont bother again, and you shouldnt either!
