In addition to books there are magazines, comic books, calendars, and puzzles. The owner is very nice and he's almost always the person working there. Like myself, he's a big history fan, and has given me several good suggestions when I've been looking for a new book. I would expect him to know a lot about books, but when I mention a title, he speaks about it like he's read it. He probably has. I've been buying books here for years. Typically I use Amazon to research titles and reviews, and then go to this store to buy it. It's rare that there isn't a copy on hand, and if not they will have it there quickly. These small bookstores are need to be supported.

They have a large selection of back issues and new releases. If you are looking for graphic novels instead don't worry they've probably got what you are looking for. I do wish they had more $1 books and more expensive wall books, but overall a good amount of inventory to browse through. They also have Funko Pops, Board Games, Magic the Gathering, and other TCGs. I choose my game shops largely based on interactions with the staff. They can make or break your experience. Mikey was incredibly inviting and upbeat - definitely made us want to come back! O - Opportunity to meet other people that love to game. Rockhopper drew a pretty decent crowd for being open such a short time. Can't wait to see it on a busy day. C - Commander nights on Saturdays and Tuesdays starting at 4pm. Most places start later and make it tough to work into your schedule. This is a huge win for me. K - Knowledge. There is nothing worse than a game store owner that knows nothing about games. Mikey had all the information pertaining to games, sets, scheduling, and his clientele. He's a real one. H - Hangover commander. Yes. Sundays are the day for hangover commander, D&D, and whatever else people are feeling like after a rough Saturday night. We love to see it. O - Open to everyone. As they should be. Happy Pride Month! P - Penguin theme. Self explanatory. P - Pretty good selection of comics, singles, board games, and other various game related items. E - Environment. There's a TON of inventory in the back room waiting to be organized and put out, but I get that takes a while. It didn't feel the most shopper-ready yet. My brother found some things he was excited about, and I found a few unique books! The owner is so kind and has plans to do DND and game nights as well as music nights with all their space. 3 books was ~$40 so not the most affordable prices, but I'm not super tuned in with what comic books run. I think in a few more months the space will be more visitor-ready with more inventory available to look through!

They are in a new location since our last visit (used to be in Eagan). Per usual, everyone was friendly and helpful. I found a Harriet Tubman comic that I didn't even know existed. I bought the two copies they had. Everything was well organized and easy to peruse both the free and paid comics they have. This space is much smaller than their previous location. Fortunately, everyone was masked, which made us feel more at ease. One of the things I really love about this place, in addition to the fact that it's POC owned, is that I can be an all-out geek and nerd without getting any side eye. Chatting with the staff is fun and I always learn something new. I don't follow the comic world closely, so getting an update and to see the excitement of the person talking is quite infectious. It's probably why I've yet to spend less than $40 when we go there. Whether it's FCBD or not, this is the play for comics, graphic novels, and all kinds of things that you'll not find anywhere else. Don't buy here. I…read morecalled about three weeks ago to ask about Pokémon Scarlet & Violet single booster packs and was quoted $8 per pack. That's above MSRP, but still reasonable if you can't find them at retail. Yesterday, before making the 30-minute drive, I called again to confirm prices. I asked about Prismatic Evolutions, Pokémon 151, and Scarlet & Violet. The employee knew some of the prices himself but asked a female coworker to help with and confirm the others. I could clearly hear their conversation over the phone. Between the two of them, they quoted Prismatic Evolutions at $15 per pack, Pokémon 151 at $30 per pack, and Scarlet & Violet at $9 per pack. After confirming the prices, the employee repeated them to me, so I made the drive based on the information they gave me. When I arrived, the Scarlet & Violet packs were marked $12 each. I told them I had literally just called and was quoted $9 per pack. Instead of acknowledging that the wrong price had been given over the phone, the female employee denied that anyone had ever quoted me $9 and even claimed that no one had spoken to me on the phone. That made absolutely no sense since I had called less than 30 minutes earlier, heard the employee ask her for help confirming prices, and then heard the prices they gave me. The extra $3 per pack wasn't even the biggest issue. Mistakes happen. What bothered me was the dishonesty and refusal to simply say, "I'm sorry, we gave you the wrong price over the phone." Instead, they acted like I was making it up. To make things worse, another customer laughed and said, "The price is $12 for you, haha." Whether it was a joke or not, it made the experience even worse. What they don't realize is that if they had simply honored the quoted price--or even admitted the mistake--I was prepared to spend a couple thousand dollars that day on ETBs, booster packs, and singles. Instead, they lost a customer over $3 a pack and the way they handled the situation. It felt like a bait-and-switch. They tell you one price over the phone, charge a different price when you arrive, and then deny ever giving you the original quote or even speaking to you. Customer service and honesty go a long way, and this place showed me exactly how they treat customers. Save yourself the drive, your time, and your money. There are plenty of better card shops that deserve your business.

This is a shop that doesn't exclude, conclude, protrude, or be rude. You want classic rock? Yes. Do you want rap? Yes. You want punk, '76 to now plus all the proto-punk that can be scraped from the depths of the sea? Yes, you are allowed. You'll find jazz, country, soul, novelty, and the whatevers. And if it's not in stock, Tune Town will order it for, real friendly-like. Don't listen to the naysayers. These are the folks who go on a Caribbean cruise, sign up for an excursion on Grand Cayman and have complaints ("we'd give zero stars if we could!!!"). They complain that the experience of feeding the sting rays just wasn't all they'd hoped for, want their money back, and can someone please give them back the time spent in the gorgeous Caribbean sun while half the world is starving and can't get clean water. So, stop blaming the sting rays for your troubles and stop down at Tune Town this weekend. This is not a paid promotion. However, I am not made from such strong moral fiber that I would turn down a free t-shirt.
