I came here after touring the Spam Museum in Austin, MN. There were a few restaurants nearby that had Spam things on their menu, but this Spam burger really drew me in. I had to try it. So we walked down the street a little bit and settled in. Ambiance was nice. It had kind of a whiskey bar vibe, and also a classic downtown restaurant that was built as a modern restaurant into the old brick facade of a downtown. I liked it. Service was great! The server we had was very nice and prompt. I did accidently receive a cocktail, though, instead of the mocktail I ordered, so just be careful with that, but everything else was great. As for the food, I got the SPAM® Burger (4 oz House Ground Beef Patty, Grilled SPAM®, Pineapple Relish, Provolone, Teriyaki Aoli, Toasted Bun). This was fun. The patty was cooked well, the SPAM had nice grill marks on it. The relish was welcome, but there needed to be more of it. The burger was super salty, and the relish needed to help cut that. I also got to try the Kimchi Rueben (12 Hour House Roasted Corned Beef, Swiss Cheese, Kimchi Slaw, Thousand Island Dressing, Toasted Rye Bread). This was really fun. Very delicious corned beef that paired perfectly with the tangy, funky kimchi. Never had this before. Never even thought of it. I loved it. Overall, this was a very nice meal. I love finding great little restaurants in little towns.

Pros: Ambiance is very nice. Elevated downtown grill vibes, with exposed brick here and there in the walls. Available board games to play are a great finishing touch. Service was great. We went for lunch, so it wasn't very crowded in there, and we were treated very well. The food itself was also very good. Lots of unique items like the kimchi reuben I had and the Spam burger that my boyfriend had. Really nice. Cons: No real cons. Lots of heaviness in the sandwiches and the sides, and not a lot of relief offered in the form of acid or sweetness. Tips: Come here after you've visited the Spam museum. You'll be in the mood, trust me. Lol.

We're from out of state and visiting relatives, so touristing. Great to be here after our Spam Museum visit. Even when it was a late lunch, all were fresh from the kitchen. Didn't taste that food was pre-made. Service was pleasant. Didn't realize it is connected to the Bakery Lounge, great idea! Wonder if it's one and the same owner.

Great service and food. I definitely recommend the California Medley! This was my first time ordering it and I wasn't disappointed. I always return!

This was a modern looking spot with a spacious bar and high ceilings. There were plenty of tables and booths available as well. The menu had traditional bar food as well as a few creative choices. The service was appreciated, and the food arrived promptly. I just went with the grill salad with chicken ($16). It came with spring mix, cherry tomatoes, carrots, shredded cheddar, cucumber, red onions, and croutons. This was a simple salad done right. The presentation was nice and there was plenty of each ingredient. The chicken was cooked appropriately with enough seasoning as well. All seemed fresh, which never hurts. Will I go back? Yes.

This place is pretty new to the area. They really hit the ground running and have found ways to make typical comfort food a bit more luxurious. We come here at least twice per month because I cannot get enough of their homemade chicken alfredo (which now comes Cajun style). Definitely try one of the cocktails; my favorites are the martinis and the current fall old fashioned with apple cider. All of the servers treat you like family, always with smiles and helpful suggestions. We love the tall booths that offer more privacy and sound barriers - we can actually hear each other! You can't go wrong here.

Stopped in on a Saturday afternoon for drinks & food. Friendly capable staff all around. Cool vibe with just the right amount of lighting. Sat at the bar and enjoyed a nicely spiced Bloody Mary with a perfect pickle/garnish. I had a side salad and soup. Salad was crispy and fresh with good honey balsamic vinaigrette. Soup was flavorful and served nice & hot. Husband had the Downtown Burger and fries and liked it a lot. Finished the meal off with a tasty craft cocktail.

We had a group of seven adults and a baby, and when I called late in the afternoon, they were able to accommodate us at exactly the time we desired. From the moment I pulled up, I had a good feeling. The exterior has that historic charm, and inside it's beautifully updated while still keeping the character of the building. We were seated in a semi-private room overlooking the dam, which made the whole experience feel even more special. The service was fantastic - attentive without being overbearing - and the food absolutely delivered. Our table ordered a variety of dishes, from the smash burger to salmon and rice, shrimp, steak, and even the French onion soup. Everything was spot on. And I have to mention the dirty martini with hand-stuffed blue cheese olives... incredible. Every single person in our group enjoyed their meal, the drinks, and the atmosphere. Highly recommend - this will definitely be our go-to spot the next time we're in town.

Food. Ribeye was cooked perfectly. Poutine was on point. I would suggest adding the meat. It's a nice touch. Stuffed dates were incredible. I realize it sounds odd, but the flavors are a great combo. The only oddity about this place was parking. Be ready to parallel park on the street. Very odd parking situation.

Stopped by for a late lunch since we were staying at the hotel…read more Our waitress was friendly and generally attentive, but it wasn't the best service we've had. Our order was taken quickly, and came out in a reasonable amount of time. There was a large funeral across the street and apparently the attendees gathered here afterwards because it was pretty busy for a Saturday afternoon. But it was still not too crazy and we were able to have a conversation at a reasonable volume. Lots of TVS playing sports. Some reviews referred to it as a nightclub which seems a stretch. At least in the afternoon it was family friendly.. The espresso martinis were strong and all alcohol. But what I'm used to and not my favorite but we definitely got a nice buzz! The cheese curds were average; the pizza fries were an interesting concept. It would have been nice if the cheese had been melted more. The pepperoni was somewhat spicy. The fries were really good! I truly enjoyed the quinoa bowl. The pork belly was crispy and crunchy and just delectable. It worked well with the quinoa and vegetables. I'd happily eat this regularly. Prices are average. Especially for a hotel, one might even consider them reasonable. It's a good option if you don't want to leave the hotel.
