Brandon, the owner is notorious about dodging phone calls and failing to communicate properly. I was unaware of his poor management until the week leading up to our event. At that time, it was too late to shift gears. This company failed to deliver, and took advantage of a NONPROFIT. We were extremely disappointed in the communication, and deliverance. We prepaid for Drinkz By Designs services which included 8 staff members. We barely had half show the night of our event. Our event mind you, was our largest charity event of the year. We had our board members bartending and picking trash in blacktie wardrobes, and full gowns. We were mortified at the way our event unfolded. I DO NOT recommend this company to ANYONE. They really should not be in business with the way the conduct and handle business and communication.

The hands-on training and realistic examples really made a difference. He also made the class fun and engaging, which helped everything stick. I created my own study guide from the notes I took in class, and as long as you pay attention and take good notes, you will pass with no problem. One thing I really appreciated is that they allow you to come back as often as you like for additional practice. That shows they truly care about their students being confident and prepared, not just passing the test. 10/10 experience. I left feeling knowledgeable, confident, and ready to step behind a bar. Staff was rude and unorganized. Caterer was late arriving only to still serve cold appetizers (meatballs, chicken pot pie bites, & chicken kabobs) which should have been warm to say the least. It was so bad that even the beverages were not to proper standard.They have since blocked me from all social media so that I could not Tag them in any of my reviews of there service, which is unprofessional in itself but what should I have expected at this point. And to make matters worse my guest complained of diarrhea and vomiting after the event. When my coordinator reached out to them to advise of our concern they failed to respond to her an insisted on speaking to us and by this time me and my husband were both so furious that we felt it best handled by the designated individual which anyone that does weddings know that they go through the coordinator not the Bride. This company didn't even have the decency to apologize for there staffs behavior which was addressed at the event. Every place I've serviced I was told the customer was always right but I guess they attended a different etiquette training. I would not suggest this vendor to anyone needing to cater a large event with class because they definitely lack in that department.

I found a venue at Greensboro National Golf Club and then had to find a caterer. I spoke to some friends that recommended Thyme2Cater. I called them on that Tuesday and the next morning they met me at the venue with a couple appertizers so we could see how they tasted. They were fantastic tasting. We went ahead and asked them to do the wedding and thank goodness we did. We did not have to worry about any caterer problems after that since they took care of everything. They got us the linens and some tables to make sure the venue looked great. Saturday they were prompt at the wedding and had a great staff to take care of us. We did not want for anything. They made sure the bride and myself were having a good time and also made us plates so we did not have to worry about not getting anything to eat. If you ever need anyone to cater for you please use them. They were easy to deal with along with a decent price also. They knew we were under the gun and could have overpriced everything but they didn't do this at all. They worked great with the venue and hopefully they can work together again soon doing other events out there. Just a fantastic experience.

DO NOT HIRE THIS COMPANY. I had my wedding last weekend and…read morethis company was supposed to cater and bartend. Well, first they showed up 2 hours late. We had agreed on them showing up between 1-2 pm and they showed up at 3, 30 mins before my wedding started. Then we were supposed to have a hot chocolate and apple cider bar (that we paid for) and they only brought hot chocolate. In our contract they were supposed to provide coffee pumps and did not bring them. Instead we had to resort to using the venues (thank goodness they had some). They refused to set up the hot chocolate bar that we paid for them to do, they handed the hot chocolate to my coordinator and made her do it. Second the menu we had agreed on was wrong. We were supposed to have chicken as one of our entrees and they did not bring any, only steak. This resulted in the venue coordinator running to foodlion to go get some so they wouldn't run out of food for the guests. The sides we ate were not of the quality that we had at the tasting. Seemed like they went to Walmart and got frozen sides and made them right before. Third, we paid for there to be desserts and they only brought one of the three we paid for. Then they put the one dessert they brought out with the appetizers so it was gone before it could be put on the dessert table. This resulted in the venue coordinator going to foodlion to get desserts so something could be put on the table. Fourth, the bartender refused to put the beer on ice so it was warm while being served. My coordinator had to tell him multiple times to put it on ice and he finally did so right before cocktail hour. I made multiple signs for the menus to be placed with the food and we were only able to use one because everything was wrong. They only send 2 employees for a 125 people wedding. Over all the professionalism of this company is subpar at best. We have pictures of everything and receipts from when the coordinator had to pay out of pocket to fix their mistake. Before the wedding, their office manager was emailing me back very fast to confirm the menu, set up times, and to make sure they had all of the information correct. Now they will not email me back and I have only heard from them once regarding the issue. I was trying to talk directly to the owner and the office manager was the only one to respond to me. She said "she is trying to resolve the issue"... there is nothing to resolve the wedding already happened. We just want our money back. Paid way too much for this TERRIBLE service. Save yourself the time and DO NOT book this catering company.
