But when it came time to close out, a staff member suddenly accused us of possibly using a stolen or fraudulent card and demanded ID before we could pay, despite the card having been in their possession the entire evening. The staff member handling this was noticeably rude, and no one else on staff could explain why we were singled out for this treatment. Our group happened to be the only table made up entirely of people of color that night, which made the whole thing feel even more uncomfortable and hard to write off as a simple misunderstanding. I reached out to management multiple times afterward to get an explanation and never got a response, which is part of why I'm leaving this review instead. If this is a result of new management or a policy change, it's not a good look. I can't recommend this place anymore, and I'd suggest others be cautious

The first piece was pretty good, while the second piece, which was kind of burned on the bottom, wasn't as great. I've finished the first of two breasts, but no potatoes yet. I try to stall but then eventually start on the second breast. I lost track of time, but maybe 15 minutes later, the potatoes show up. The small plate has five slices...2.5 potatoes. Why didn't they give me the extra half? It's fine though because other than a little cheese on top, they didn't have much seasoning or flavor, so I gave two halves to my daughter to put with her other leftovers. Both my wife and daughter had the Farmers Daughter pizza, which they typically do. My daughter added chicken and onions to hers. They both like the pizza a lot. Service was good overall, other than the great potato caper of 2026, or this rating would've been much lower.

There were only a few of us in this dark, cold, delighful hole in the wall at 11AM and it felt right. My man hit up the juke box and was complimented on his selections from a rugged looking biker cowboy with an excellent mustache that was playing pool. The bartender was friendly and there was a welcoming weird vibe to the joint. One of those places with a lot of dollar bills on the walls and ceiling, some really old furniture, and posters for upcoming events. My guess is this place is hopping on a weekend night, but I highly recommend popping in if you are in the area!
