The two girls she had in the party barn had no idea what was going on or where anything was, which was why I had to keep going to the house. The bartender couldn't leave the bar all night. She needed things but didn't have any way to communicate with anyone. I was so disappointed in the entire experience. I would not recommend this place to anyone. They will tell you you can get 200 people in that barn, we have 100 and with any dancing going on it is tight. And good luck if it rains. And The Knot keeps deleting my review, which is concerning.

I felt like I was in a magical forest. -The area is about a 50 minute drive from Dallas so the location isn't too far out in the middle of nowhere and it still has a beautiful vibes of nature. -The indoor venue is a cozy ,comfortable and was well ventilated with air conditioning. Cons -This location is that it's not made for big weddings. Any more than 200 people than it would have crowded in my opinion. -The parking and roads into the wedding venue is composed of rocks and gravel. Ladies need to be careful when wearing high heels and dress shoes to the venue. -There's wasp and bees at the venue. (Of course this can't be really helped) The Recommendation: This is a beautiful venue for a small outdoor wedding. Come in late summer or early fall for good weather.

Despite that we decided to take a look at them... made an app of online to come view on a weekend in one of their scheduled time slots, had a confirmation email, and made our hour and 15 min drive to this remote location only to have NO ONE show up. And to top it off their phone number on the front of the resort on their sign isn't even their number.... Finally got a hold of someone through a different number from the confirmation email and they tried to say we never had an approval even though I'm looking at a confirmation email... no apologies, no "hey I'm sorry we can have someone there in 30 min", just straight up blame and attitude on the phone and no compassion for us having spent 2.5 hrs of our day driving to see NOTHING! We won't be back!!! On the bright side... at least this happened before we spent a single dollar with them and not three weeks out from wedding time like so many frustrations and reviews you see on wedding sights.... and now we're doing destination anyway!!!

He should have spoken to us and we would have spoken to our guests if we felt that would be an issue. This wasn't a prom, it was ok to treat us like children. He was so negative the entire day to our families while they were setting up. My MIL nicknamed him Mr. Happy because he always had a negative response to anything and everything or a angry look on his face. The wedding coordinator he suggests you use... Don't. She kept interfering with pictures and telling people where to go. That's what I paid the photographer for. She is in quite a few pictures that were very important, like me being walked down the aisle. His minister he refers to you is very long winded and wouldn't quit talking during the ceremony. So if you like short and sweet, don't use him. He has very many rules that weren't made apparent during our first visit, had I known... We wouldn't have used K Star. Read before you sign. But that was my mistake. They setup for fall and Christmas for people to rent out and take photos. There is a small gravel parking area and a circle drive to drop people off at closer to the door.
