Her predatory behavior and complete lack of ethics during a severe medical crisis have left me financially devastated. ​1. Bait-and-Switch "Flat Fee" Deception ​She advertised herself as a Flat Fee attorney. At the start, she explicitly told me, "The beauty of a flat fee is that even if we go to court, it won't cost more than $20,000." However, after I was forced to fire her, her accounting statement revealed she secretly billed me at $450/hour. I paid $20,000 before we even reached mediation, while my ex-spouse's attorney fees totaled only $7,000. Because I was on unpaid medical leave, in extreme pain, and spending hours doing her paperwork with limited hand mobility, I didn't realize the extent of the financial exploitation until it was too late. ​2. Extreme Negligence and Court No-Show ​3.5 Hours Late: She completely missed the start of my Temporary Protective Order (TPO) hearing because she overslept. ​Case Compromised: Her absence infuriated the judge and deeply compromised my case. ​Zero Accountability: Her negligence added an extra $3,500 to my costs.
