Because our divorce involved multiple properties and significant assets, I needed experienced legal representation. When I first contacted the firm, I expected to work with one of the senior attorneys, but my case was assigned to Ms. Price, who was always respectful, courteous, and professional. My concerns were never with her personally. Unfortunately, my overall experience with the firm was very disappointing. Communication was extremely poor. There were long periods--sometimes months--without any updates on my case, and I often had to initiate contact by emailing or calling just to find out what was happening. On top of that, nearly every communication seemed to generate another charge. Emails, phone calls, faxes--everything was billed, making an already expensive process even more frustrating. As a first-time divorce client, I relied on the firm's guidance and expected better case management. Instead, I felt there was a lack of oversight from the senior attorneys. When I raised my concerns, they suggested a Zoom meeting, but it became apparent that they were not familiar with the details of my case. Eventually, Ms. Price left the firm, and I was given an ultimatum: stay with the firm, follow Ms. Price, or find another attorney. After spending nearly a year with this firm and making little meaningful progress, I decided to hire different counsel. The new attorney achieved the results I needed, but only after additional time and expense. The firm did not offer any reimbursement or credit despite my concerns.
