My daughter got married in October in Mesa. We had about 140 guests. Rented tables, tablecloths, chairs, a bar and a dance floor. I had no experience renting furniture for a large event and quickly realized there are many choices. Kat was incredibly helpful in giving information and guidance. Example - I wasn't sure which bar to rent as the catalog has many. Kat let me know that the white bar was a good choice as it has a shelf on the inside which helps the bartender store bottles. Prices were very fair, responses to phone calls and emails was swift. Our wedding had a lot of serious dancers in attendance so we rented the largest size dance floor 25 X 25 which I'd recommend if you think 80% of he people will spend a lot of time dancing. If I could give more than 5 stars I would! The Event Co was very communicative, professional, easy to work with, customer service oriented, and went above and beyond. I recruited my husband to go with me to pick up the large farmhouse tables we had rented, thinking we were going to be loading them ourselves, but two Event Co staff saw us pull up as they were headed out to lunch. They stopped, jumped out of their truck, helped with our order and then loaded our tables. The farmhouse tables were beautiful and absolutely MADE the wedding! We rented 20 chairs for a birthday party and while the process to reserve was easy, when I sent my husband to pick up the chairs, he was given the wrong ones. When he got home and I realized we had been given the wrong chairs, I called and they asked us to come back and switch them out. Anyone knee deep in party prep knows that this is extremely inconvenient to have to go back to fix their mistake. When my husband got there to switch them, no discount or anything was offered to make it right. I've only ever rented from places that have been overly professional and while mishaps are far and between, if ever there was one, they always made it right. Unfortunately, those places were out of stock for the chairs I needed for this date so I searched elsewhere. Someone at the event asked where I rented the chairs because they need some for a big NYE party and unfortunately I could not recommend The Event Co with confidence. If you're really in a time crunch, I would search elsewhere because mistakes like this will cost you time you don't have. read more

BEWARE. They will keep your deposit even if you try to cancel within 48 hours, no matter how large. Called at least 10 times also text to try and explain why the cancellation had to happen literally within 48 hours of creating the order, for an event scheduled 6 months out. If this was $100, even $300 we wouldn't be thrilled but it would be ok compared to over $5000 they are stealing from us for nothing but a few minutes of preparing an order mostly via text. We have no choice but to take further action. To anyone looking at using this company beware. read more

Forgot the base to the arch for delivery and brought 14 wrong colored chairs out of the 100 we ordered. The customer service agent said she'd talk to her manager about giving us some sort of discount for this mistake and they won't get back to me. This was the day before my wedding and they didn't bring the chairs or base to the arch til 6PM. We didn't have help at 6PM, our help was all at my house at 10AM when the rentals were supposed to arrive originally. They then interrupted my rehearsal dinner to assemble the arch and switch out the chairs. read more

Rentals were fine. We picked up our items but when it came time to return we had no way of doing so. So, we arranged for a pick up. Company was great to add us to the schedule for that day. I specifically asked for them to contact me before they came to get the items. We have large dogs. I needed to make sure they were away. They agreed! I left the house at 4:30 pm and came home to find out the rentals had been take out of my backyard without my approval. They entered my backyard without permission. I hadn't even let them know where the items were located. So, they took it upon themselves to search for them. No phone call was ever recieved. I was told the manager would call and talk to me about this unfortunate issue. He did. I missed the call and tried to call back. Phone number didn't work. I've texted multiple times since that was the main source of communication - no one has reached out. This is unacceptable customer service. And no one should enter my backyard without permission. Unprofessional. Didn't even TRY to make it up to us!! read more

Update: since our wedding on 10/2/21, we still have not received physical copies of our photo booth pictures as promised in the contract, multiple emails, and phone calls. They ignored my attempts to follow up. I even delayed mailing out thank you cards in hopes that I would be able to send photo booth strips along with them... and now when I look at our fridge, I am sad and disappointed that we have photos from all our friends' wedding photo booths but none from our own. read more

My husband Will and I were completely blown away by The Event Co! We always envisioned an outdoor wedding and it was truly made possible by The Event Co. Their twinkle light canopy is a great affordable option compared to many tent rentals and we got compliments ALL night long that it was so refreshing to be able to see the sunset, mountains and stars since we weren't in a tent! The ivory settee rental turned out to be one of my favorite touches and it made for great photos since you're so close to your spouse! The heaters blended right in with the overall aesthetic and didn't take away like most heaters would. We also received so many compliments from our planner (Outstanding Occasions) and our venue (Paradise Valley Country Club) on how great Alex, Julie and the entire Event Co. team was to work with!
