The tattoo parlor was a lot of fun! We had five newbies to escape rooms and me (I've done more than 5 escapes) and everyone had a great time. Our gamemaster, Nico, who monitors you during the event, did an outstanding job of giving hints after we struggled on something a while but not waiting too long where you get frustrated. Nico also did a great job role playing the hiring manager for the tattoo parlor at the start of the room. All around a satisfying experience and fun memories. read more

Talk about a great experience! Not only were the rooms fun, the staff was wonderful as well. My wife and I were running late on our road trip and, with birds in tow, figured we'd ask if there was any chance we could bring them in to hang out in the lobby so we could get to our games on time and... they agreed! Not only that, they were really excited to have them around and interact with them. We're really grateful to the staff for being so accommodating. As for the rooms themselves, we had experience with their Florida location's game (they only had Servants of Sleight at the time) so we had some familiarity with their Doggone Alley setup, but it was just long enough since we did the other room and the puzzles were just different enough to make this a fun and cute experience. Front Street Casino Heist was even more fun as a brand new experience for us and the items that were the object of the heist were a lot of fun for me particularly (I may have been one of the few visitors to catch how rare a real version of one of them was). While Alley was largely linear, Heist was more free form, but both were fun and definitely manageable for two people. In fact, we set our first room record together, making the experience all the more memorable. Sarah and Nico were fantastic game masters and along with all the staff were super approachable at all times. I'd definitely go back as they introduce new rooms! read more

Five of us played the White Rabbit Society room. We had a blast! It was a little slow going at first to get those first few clues but then things really started moving! The room itself was great, with decor that completely fit the them. They make it clear what is off limits but most things were interactive. We will definitely be back to do the two other rooms. The place is tucked away on the second floor of an old building downtown Wilmington. You could miss it easily if you didn't see the small sign. It is a very tiny place but set up very well. The girl working there was really energetic and seemed to really enjoy her job. The place is super clean and was pretty high tech compared to some other escape rooms I have been in. We did Dog Gone Alley and it was pretty fun. They had it well planned out and we got our with 4 minutes to spare. It was a great time! read more

A different approach to escape rooms and I loved it! My friend and I went and completed the Casino room and it was different than any other room I had ever completed. Absolutely love this place! You could miss it if you don't know the address. Cool 2nd floor location in the tallest building in downtown Wilmington! Taylor was our game master for the White Rabbit room! Newest room and definitely my favorite. Bring some friends as these puzzles are difficult but so creative! Haley was our game master for Dog Gone Alley! I never expected a 40 minute room to be so intense! Haley took great care of us with only a couple clues to keep us on track. Great COVID precautions starting with staging in the lobby to ensure groups never cross the same path. Can't wait to see what they come up with next! read more

The exit games was incredibly fun. I loved the zodiac basement.. it is a non linear game with such a fun exciting twists. We came in with two people and it is a 10 people room. There was a lot of things in there that I wanted to just go with my gut and try. However, I didnt only because it was my first room ever. It was amazing. I would say we got far enough for first timers but would have liked to have completed the puzzle past our hour. However that's not an option and that's okay! The staff is extremely friendly and accommodating as well! I was late and they were able to squeeze me into their next appointment. This place is amazing! read more

We went with friends and had a total of 6 people. Most of us had never done an escape room. We did the Casino Heist and had a really good time. Definitely challenging but totally worth trying. The owner is friendly and passionate. They put together a great puzzle, I am still trying to solve. The room seemed like a real office and vault. That made it that much more fun and convincing. Props and decor worked well together. Definitely will be back to have a go at another game. read more

Came here with my girlfriend and friend during his birthday celebration while we were in Wilmington. Stumbled across this while walking down the street after drinking at a few spots (literally stumbled upon it haha). We made a reservation for the room an hour later. We returned an hour later and the owners who are super cool gave us the run down of how it all works. We had never done one of these escape rooms before so we didn't really know what to expect. We had an hour to piece together clues and get out of the room. Overall it was an AWESOME experience. The clues were pretty challenging, so it's better to have more people (we had 3). The owners gave us clues when they saw us struggling, but didn't hold our hands and walk us through the whole thing. The room, "The Basement," was setup nicely (nice meaning creepy since it's the room of a serial killer). They are in the process of finishing another room and according to their website are adding more in the future. This is a private startup and they've done an amazing job. Anyone in Wilmington looking to have a different type of fun, check this place out! Definitely worth the hour and the money. read more

I've been wanting to do an escape room since I first heard of them and my experience at The Exit Games exceeded all of my expectations. Staff went out of their way to accommodate us when we had to be late to our time slot due to issues at dinner beforehand. They even called back to let us know of a later time that night we might have been able to do it if we ended up not being able to make it in the extra 15-20 minutes they would allow us. We ended up making it and only missing out on about 5 of our 60 minutes in the room as we got our little debriefing. The 6 of us escaped with only a couple minutes to spare, thanks to the cryptic clues we received from staff over the walkie talkies! The Basement was incredibly fun and I can't wait to go back to The Exit Games to try the other room! read more

This place was awesome!! They just opened up about a month ago and I came here with my family and my girlfriend and we had a blast!! The clues are very hard, but they help you if you get stuck! It's a really great feeling when you finally figure something out!! It was nicely set up in there and everything was clean and air conditioned!!! The theme was so cool and they had a really big surprise in one of the rooms!! I can't wait to go back when they open up the new room. Highly recommended!! Last week, I went to the Exit Games with 3 friends to try and escape the Nightmare on Front Street room. We had a blast! I have done around 10/15 escape rooms all around the world and I can honestly say, this room was one of my favorites. All of the friends that tackled the room with me were first-timers; they are still talking about how cool the experience was. The room was challenging but not too challenging. Our Game Keeper gave us helpful hints when we needed, but she was careful not to give anything away too easily. Unfortunately, we did not escape in the hour time limit, however we did make it to the final puzzle and we had a great time racing to solve the plethora of different puzzle types. Overall, we could not have been more pleased with our experience in the Nightmare on Front St.! This was my second experience at The Exit Games and I certainly plan to come back and try the other rooms they have! read more
