I cannot say enough great comments about this place. The full course is no joke, the zip lines are so much fun, and the staff Jasmyn was great and keep checking on everyone, super sure and made us feel like they weren't rushing us. I went with 3 - 11 year old girls, one who was about to quit and was scared in the black course, and then Tyler came and saved the day, not only was he there for safety but he was also her personal coach and cheerleader that got her to finish the whole course! This place is awesome and a lot of fun for a different adventure. My sister and I were the only people on the course with our instructor Chris. Chris was fantastic and made it extra fun! We were able to go at our own pace and they even let you venture off by yourself. The gear they use has a great safety feature so you're always locked in. Bought this for my husband last Christmas. We went this past weekend and had the time of our lives. There is a demo course and four others that get progressively tougher. The obstacles vary from course to course. Marci (sorry if I spelled it wrong!) was a great guide. There's water along the first two courses. NOT RECOMMENDED FOR KIDS. Irresponsible Ownership led to my son getting hurt here. I had heard great things about this place and went in with high expectations that our kids would have a great time. Unfortunately, those high expectations led me to look past some clear red flags. The good: the equipment seems to be well maintained. Our children are 9 and 7 and were the only ones scheduled for the kids course this past Friday morning. The owner (I think he's the owner) started with a safety demo, explaining MOST of the equipment that the kids would be using. He walked them through the safety latches until they understood how the system worked. Then he had them go through the first of two safety/demo courses. So far, so good. Then he said that they would move on to the Kids Course. The first red flag was that he didn't put them on the second safety course. My father had been there previously and asked the owner why the kids weren't doing the second safety course, as well. "They understand the click-it harnesses already, so we're just going to move them on to the fun stuff," was the reply. (Red Flag #1) At this point, the owner introduced two younger instructors that he called the "Course Ambassadors." They would go up on the ropes course with our kids because (his words) "kids relate better to other kids than they do to some grown-up telling them what to do." He noted that one of the Ambassadors was his daughter and that the other was a friend. Given that one was wearing a Cape Fearless t-shirt and headband (as was the owner), I understood this to mean that they were employees/junior guides even though they seemed young. At this point, they brought our kids up onto the ropes/obstacle course and walked them through the different obstacles. Red Flag #2 here was when the Ambassador was goofing around/showing off on the course instead of paying attention to the kids that she was allegedly teaching how to do it. I held my tongue at this point because the owner was still present and overseeing both the Ambassadors and the kids. The kids did all of the obstacles and got to the zip line part. This was Red Flag #3, as the kids now had to use equipment that hadn't been explained to them on the ground - which WOULD have been had they done the second safety/demo course. Still, they were able to use the harness and do the zip line. Here's where it went off the rails. The owner then said the kids were free to do the Kids Course for the rest of their allotted time and left to go back to the office, leaving our kids under the Ambassador's watch. The kids went back up on the course and continued doing the obstacles. The Ambassadors were goofing around, talking to each other, and went up on the zip line to crash into each other, while our kids were on a different section of the course. My daughter completed the course and went back around for another run. My son completed the course and was on the last platform. An Ambassador was on the platform with him, but ignored him as she chatted with the other Ambassador on the ground. They were throwing sticks to each other when my son missed the ladder and fell off the platform. The safety harness stopped him from hitting the ground, but not before he was hung up on a dismounting hook. He was screaming. One Ambassador ran to get the owner and the other stayed at the top of the platform in a panic. We lifted our son off the hook and and saw the 7-8" welt on his upper thigh. Thankfully, nothing was broken. The owner came over and immediately went into cover-his-ass mode, describing hypothetical scenarios about "well, if there were 5 or 6 kids going on here and I had a guide here, what could they have possibly done to prevent this?" That was just before he said "oh, I have a First Aid kit in the office" (HE JUST CAME FROM THE OFFICE) "do you want me to go get it?" YOU CAME OVER BECAUSE YOU WERE TOLD THAT A CHILD WAS HURT AND...DIDN'T BRING THE FIRST AID KIT? REALLY? Now I was pissed. The owner was useless, more concerned with explaining why it wasn't their fault (uhhh...you didn't see it happen because you weren't there) than anything else. I explained that the Ambassador was right next to my son when it happened, but ignored him as she'd more or less been doing the whole time. That's when he told us that she was only 11 and couldn't possibly know what to do. So...the Ambassadors are children. Not Junior Guides, not employees...just kids. And the owner left our kids under their watch. My son's injuries were mild because he got lucky. It could have been worse. To add insult to injury, the owner summoned my son and I over to his crying daughter/Ambassador so that she could apologize using clearly coached language to explain why it wasn't her fault. I felt horrible for her. Of course it's not your fault. You're eleven. The responsibility lies with the owner. How the hell is it even legal to pass off children as employees/guides?! read more

We had a great time at Cape Fearless Extreme! My husband, daughter and I completed the adult course with our guide, Chris, who was fun and patient. The course runs through a nice forest area and makes good use of the existing trees. It was definitely a challenge, but well worth the effort. We will definitely return. read more

We had so much fun here. First, the course is very safe, they use a system that double locks you into all the challenges and they require you take a class on the safety system and show that you are proficient with it before beginning the course. The course has 4 different levels that get progressively higher and more challenging, keeping you entertained the entire time. We were worried it would be boring or somewhat poorly executed since that has been our experience in the Fayetteville and surrounding area, but this place did not disappoint. We had a lot of fun. After talking with the owners, we found our they had a professional ropes course designer come in and build the course, which explains why it is so great-its not just something some bubba dreamed up and built in his backyard and now charges $45 a head. They also have years of experience working at high ropes courses and they are very nice and professional. Highly recommend! read more

If you're looking for something new and unique to try, I would 100% recommend this place. It's about 50 dollars a ticket, but that's with about 2-4 hours of climbing, so your money isn't going to waste. The obstacle courses are tough, but definitely a lot of fun! My boyfriend and I went up all the way to their black course and we were exhausted by the end of it, but it was a day to remember. The guides that follow you through the course are extremely nice and easy to talk to. If you're a thrill-seeker, this is a great place to start! read more
