I was nervous about the procedure…read moreand the day of was informed that my "side boob" would not be removed because it was not covered by insurance but it could be if I would happily pay for it. . I was so stressed out but went ahead with the scheduled surgery anyway. I think I went down seven or eight cup sizes so it was a relief. However, I was not happy with the overall results. The scars were awful. It looked like I was butchered from one end to the other. My nipples were moved; I no longer have feeling or sensation in them and the area around one of them was not "stitched" together properly so it's like it has a little hole or gape in it. I can't even happily wear bras now but I have to find a certain type because of my side boob/fat as bras will inch up from the bottom and depending on what kind of shirt I'm wearing, it's very easy to see all the flab hanging from under my arms. That's too much for the correct size bra I wear so it has nowhere to go. I've gone to different stores for bra fittings and they have difficulty finding something that will work for me as well. So ultimately, I wish I had requested the older, more experienced surgeon or better yet, did more research. They do have great reviews and yes, every surgery isn't going to be perfect. But I expected more from this. The follow up was minimal, too.
