The space is a little crammed given the number of customers. Recommend getting here early to grab a table or bar seat. Still, the bartenders are very attentive and quick to take your order despite the crowd. It is a little pricey but for the strength and quality of the beers, it is definitely worth it!

The people around me seemed to pretty much enjoy the place, which is a good sign for me to go back. I'll definitely spend a bit more time over there to give more or less stars. To be continued... :)

Yep, a Scottish theme…read more Living in Lille as a poor English Assistant, this place served me cheap pints, and worked its way into many fond memories of that year. It's usually less crowded than its Irish pub neighbor a couple doors down, which is how my friends and I found it originally (we were looking for a low-key drink on a random weeknight). It's centrally located to many other bars and clubs in Lille, so it's great for a stop on a busy many-stop bar crawl, or just for a little change of pace before (or after) a stop at the club.

The lavatory is a bit difficult to find, but FYI it's hidden behind the black chalkboard panel behind the bar. And yes, it even says WC written in chalk. The wait staff is young, attractive looking and very friendly. The public there is also as young and relaxed as the vibe here at Bar Braz.
