Boxing Day lunch was a very busy service, maybe an extra pair of waiting hands would have been beneficial. That said, after an initial 15 minutes wait to have a drinks order taken, service was very good, polite, courteous and informed.
This is my second visit and, as before, the menu was very varied and on the whole a traditionally British offering.
Starters - the charcuterie sharing platter, main - shoulder of lamb, dessert - hmm, it was Boxing Day and I just couldn't take any more. Previously I've had the cheese board which is really very good.
All in all a very pleasant experience again, would have been five stars if there'd been extra waiting staff.
