The food is the worst I have ever had put in front of me in any restaurant I have ever been in. I've had manky takeaways that were a million times better than this. I feel sorry for the waiting staff who have to present it with a straight face. We were greeted by the Italian owner and I felt a bit guilty as he asked a couple who had finished their meal if they were ready to leave in order to seat us. The owner - who in his authentic accent corrected our poor attempts at Italian while ordering - was friendly and took our starters order first. The Marinara had clams and prawns, my Rustica had eggplant and anchovies, my wife's Alfredo was cream based with ham delight, and the girls had simple pastas with fresh Italian sausage.
