It's really well decked out inside. It's been refurbished but it has still kept that traditional, village pub feel which is so important in these types of places. It's also apparently haunted and many locals claim to have seen some spooky goings on here. They do one of the best Sunday lunches here aswell, with your standard choice of meats. Last time I checked that was £6.99 but that may well have changed. Really friendly bar staff here, and there's always good banter to be had with them and the regulars. It's one of those increasingly rare places these days where there's never any trouble, everyone seems to know each and get along, and there's an all round, homely relaxed vibe here. There's a pool table, dart board and a large seating area here too and although still cosy, there's always plenty of space here. This is where I'd normally write my main gripes and faults but I genuinely can't think of any! Full marks.

There's a lovely outdoor seating area which is a spacious, chilled out place to enjoy a sunny day. It's close proximity to Monknash beach also make it an ideal pit stop after a day by the seaside. I went in about two hours ago for a pint of Butty Bach, which is brewed in the Wye Valley. It's a fantastic, strong bitter and one I always have when visiting here. The odd celebrity has been spotted within these walls and it's not at all difficult to see why. In the local area, the Plough and Harrow is truly one of the finest traditional pubs.

The food here is fantastic always and although sometimes it isn't perfect it's always created with care. The menu doesn't vary too much and there are a few starters and a few mains and there is a slightly different lunch menu here. I'm always here with 3 other people and we always enjoy our meals. The desserts are pretty standard but the starters and mains can be different. Service isn't always instant but where is in a pub? You'll not have to wait long and you'll get some lovely hot bread with butter and oil & balsamic vinegar for dipping. The owner is often pottering around and you are as likely to have her take your order as one of the staff. Worth the trip out into the middle of nowhere :-)

Worth the pilgrimage if you're near by; easily reached from Tenby. We found it to be very friendly, quite busy with locals and dogs and with a fantasticly warming real fire. There's plenty of crazy stuff about the place,stuffed animals, photos and lots about the old Landlady Alice Davies who ran the place from 1961 until she was 90. A great deal of heritage in this 18th centuary pub and a tasty pint of Worthington's firewater to go with it.
