It had a rustic/shabby chic vibe and reminded me of those stores that you might see in North Georgia cabin country. There wasn't much to see and it felt more like someone's workspace instead of a furniture store. They had two really nice arm chairs that were blocked with a sign that said "Please do not sit on me". Now, how in the world would you ever expect to sell a chair that can't be tested? Also, if you don't want customers sitting on the furniture, don't place it on the main floor or just place it in the window where there is no direct access. I understand that because these chairs were very light in color that they were concerned with them getting soiled but this sign just seemed inappropriate and out of place in a furniture store. Much of what I saw was very light in color so if you want a light decor, you could check out the options here. There are also decorative items to add a bit of visual interest or to complete a look. This store appeared to be staged for visitors to just walk in and out. It just didn't seem very customer friendly although the ladies working here were. I just left feeling confused. Was it me?

The transmission was not stuck in any one gear and I thought that it was a simple slave issue or at the most a clutch issue. The diagnosis from Christian Brothers was that the entire transmission (w/ clutch, slave kit etc.) needed to be replaced for a total cost of $11,621.49. I declined their services and had my truck taken to two other automotive service locations. One location gave me an estimate of $4200.00 for repairs. I had my truck repaired at another automotive service location for $1900.00 (clutch and slave kits). Both of the other automotive service locations stated that the transmission was fine and that the clutch needed to be replaced. To make a long story short, that was the first and last time I will attempt to utilize the services of Christian Brothers Automotive services. The individual that hauled my truck to Christian Brothers had forewarned me not to take my truck there but I thought I'd give it a shot. This is my first time posting anything on YELP but because of my experience, I thought it important enough to let those who may be considering getting automotive services done at this Christian Brothers location, to be forewarned. I saved almost $10,000.00 (minus diagnosis costs at two locations and three hauling trips via a rollback) by simply taking my truck to a different automotive service provider. I didn't know it, but evidently, I must have had "SUCKER" written all over my face when I entered and spoke to the service manager at the Christian Brothers location in Sharpsburg, Georgia, regarding the transmission in my truck. Eight weeks later, after countless excuses and no completed work, I finally decided enough was enough and went to retrieve my wheels. Looking back, I should have paid attention to the 3.4-star rating and the numerous negative reviews. Every time I called to ask about the status, there was a new excuse. The final explanation was that the humidity was causing delays. A professional powder coating shop should have the proper equipment and environmental controls to account for humidity. Hearing that only reinforced my impression that this shop lacks the competence and quality standards expected of a professional business. To make matters worse, the work they did complete was unacceptable. I now have to take my wheels to a reputable powder coating shop to have them redone correctly, meaning I paid this shop for work that ultimately has to be fixed. Save yourself the frustration, wasted time, and wasted money. Take the negative reviews seriously and go somewhere else. I'd honestly trust a reputable shop out of state before trusting this one again. If you value your time, your money, and your peace of mind, avoid this shop altogether
