On a recent trip to the area, we decided to stop here for lunch after reading the great Yelp reviews. I must admit that the reviews were spot on. Everything about this experience was top-notch! From being seated quickly upon entering, to explaining how the ticket validation thing worked (more info at the end), customer service was some of the best I've been shown. The ambiance is chic but casual-great for both cozy date night or fun family night. Our server was so friendly and patient as we asked questions about the menu. I ordered the grilled salmon with spicy crab remoulade and my guy ordered the smoked wings with a side of fries. I was happy that I was able to select my own sides from the ones on the menu so I opted for the fried Brussels sprouts with maple and bacon and the buttermilk whipped potatoes. After a short wait, our food was brought out. This was truly one of the best salmon dishes I have ever eaten! The salmon was cooked to my liking, the potatoes were soft and fluffy and the fried Brussels sprouts were absolutely divine and perfect. The remoulade was a little salty but it may have been just been my taste. The potatoes helped with that so it was not a deal breaker. My guy was pleased with his food as well and I could tell he enjoyed everything he ate. We agreed that we would take this trip back just to eat this meal again. It was truly a wonderful experience, from beginning to end. I highly recommend trying this gem out! Pro Tip: The restaurant validates parking. If you park in the lot across the street, do not prepay on the app or online. Ask the servers at the front to validate to save the $18 parking fee before you order and within 15 minutes after entering. This place was SOOO delicious. I had a creamy pasta dish that was amazing and everyone at my table also loved their food. The beer was great, from a local brewer which I love. It's always nice when visiting from out of town when you can get a variety of local beers all in one place. The server was also so nice and talked with us about the area, which was thoughtful. The inside was huge! But we sat outside under their covered porch. They have TVs, but there weren't any fans. If it's hot, I'd opt for inside! Sometimes the best dog-friendly experiences come from businesses that go above and beyond, and that's exactly what happened at FEED Co. Table & Tavern. We visited during a snowy day in Chattanooga, which normally would have meant sitting on the patio. The patio is heated and dog-friendly, but with the weather being particularly unpleasant, the staff graciously allowed me to join my humans indoors as long as I stayed in my carrier. From the moment we arrived, everyone was incredibly welcoming. Several servers stopped by to say hello, compliment me on my excellent restaurant manners, and generally make me feel like an honored guest. The food was excellent, and my humans enjoyed their meal while I was treated to a side of chicken that disappeared surprisingly fast. The service was attentive, friendly, and genuinely warm throughout our visit. The restaurant itself has a comfortable atmosphere with plenty of character. One of my favorite features was the giant cow mural, which provided excellent entertainment while I waited for my chicken to arrive. I spent several minutes making sure none of the cows planned to leave the wall. What stood out most was how accommodating the staff was. They didn't just tolerate a dog--they made us feel welcome. There's a lot to say about feed, the food is a mixture of southern Classics and farm to table. Starting with the appetizers, you get the feeling that the food is going to be warm and comforting, and also offer a little bit of intrigue. Might I recommend as starters the Wagyu and pork belly meat meatballs - wow factor here is high. As a close second, I would recommend the rib tip appetizer glazed with Carolina barbecue sauce. For dinner, we had a mix. She had the airline chicken with brussels sprouts and mashed potatoes. I had the steak frites. The steak was a hanger, and the fries were lightly battered and fried to perfection. Our server, Hunter, what can I say other than she's a delight and she was always attentive and quick with some really amazing suggestions. Don't feel bashful about browsing the cocktail menu either, you won't be disappointed by any of your choices! The decor is kind of farmhouse, but very welcoming. After a very early visit to Ruby Falls and Point Park, great places, we found The FEED Co. Loved that they use local farms. We were seated in the large bar area. They have another dining area and an outside area too. Hunter was our server and she was great! She had great recommendations and was an attentive, fun person. Our glasses never ran empty. We started with Jalapeno Cheddar Hushpuppies with Spicy Yogurt. My husband had the Smoked Brisket French Dip - Smoked Brisket, Caramelized Onions, Provolone Cheese, Au Jus, French Hoagie with Beer Battered Fries. I had The Motherclucker - Springer Mountain Farms Southern Fried Chicken, Spiced Pickles, Hot Sauce, Duke's Mayo, Niedlov's Bun. Hunter recommended adding Pepper Jack cheese and Bacon, as well as the Brussels Sprouts with Maple & Bacon. Everything was wonderful. There were way too many Brussels sprouts. It also would have been nice if they were cut into smaller pieces. They had a special dessert of Blackberry Cobbler with Vanilla Ice Cream. We went here for lunch after visiting Rock City. Waited about 5 mins for our table, which wasn't so bad. We ordered the hush puppies, the tavern burger, and the fish and chips. The hush puppies were good fresh out the grease 3.5/5. The burger was also good and the bun was nice and fluffy. The fries were ok, but didn't taste beer battered. I didn't try the fish and chips, but my wife mentioned that the batter was good, but the fish tasted frozen. I really enjoyed this restaurant during our visit. We stored here after white water rafting and. It was pretty empty around 2 so we easily food seating on the outdoor patio. I chose the Southern fried catfish which comes with buttermilk whipped potatoes,garlic green beans and is dressed with corn salads. Ooooh 10s across the board. The fish was pretty cooked, the potatoes smooth, crunchy green beans and that corn salad was a great addition. The Lookout mountain lemonade was refreshing without being overly sweet. Outdoor patio is nice area to relax, have a good conversation while eating. Complimentary parking is available in the lot directly across the street for patrons. Parking was a breeze. There is a lot directly across the street that does validation. There are detailed instructions next to the pay station. Upon entering we were greeted by warm and friendly staff. Wait time was reasonable (20 mins) and there was a fair amount of seating. There were about 3-4 groups waiting to be seated. We were walked through the establishment and seated at a booth table near the bar. If you are into sports you can see the TVs from just about every seat. The waitress arrived shortly after our seating and took our appetizer and drink order. We started with the Triple B. The fries came out quickly, were hot, fresh and delicious. The drink I ordered was out, but the waitress gave another option, but unfortunately that was out as well. Ended up having an old favorite, Guinness. For our meals we ordered the smoked brisket French dip and the wagyu burger. Upon ordered the burger our waitress informed us there was a shortage of patties and if we still wanted the burger we would get one patty instead of two, but at a lower cost. Both dishes were amazing and we couldn't finish them as both the fries and the entrees were larger in comparison to other places we have eaten. Overall this was a great experience with great food. The only thing we had difficulty with is having to use the phone flashlight to read the menu as the lighting was really dim. Will definitely return if we take another trip here. read more

FEED Co is in a downtown area in an older brick building. There is a parking lot across the street. Go to the kiosk and follow the directions on the sign to choose the 15 minute free parking. You will then get a ticket to give to the hostess who will validate for free parking. The interior has a fun, funky brewery type vibe, with decor such as chandeliers made of a drum set and another one made of old fire extinguishers. We ordered a mahi sandwich, beet salad, fish & chips, and a French dip. All of them were good! We also enjoyed a couple local draft beers. Our server was incredibly helpful and friendly, even when my son spilled his water. We were just traveling through town, but we were definitely glad we chose this spot! read more

We came up to Chattanooga about two weeks ago for a continuing education opportunity. One of the folks at our tour/educational event recommended FEED and so we popped over to have lunch once our experience was done. This is a fairly large and spacious restaurant in a vibrant part of Chattanooga. I found fairly cheap street parking about 1.5 blocks up and made it over no problem. There wasn't a wait for our party of 6. We sat on the patio, which was wide open but covered and airy with fairly good acoustics. There was a very occasional whiff of something unpleasant (vaguely garbage-y) but I suppose that's a risk you run with outdoor dining. The menu is classically American but creative and high quality. Our waiter was Timothy and he provided great recommendations, was patient with our waffling, and prompt and friendly while grabbing refills, checks, etc. Their sweet tea was excellent and I easily drained two glasses of it, haha. We started with two orders of the fried green tomatoes for the table. This was the low point of the meal for me; I agreed with a few other dining companions that the tomato slices were a little too thick and the breading did not bind super well or have enough seasoning, leaving it falling off in somewhat bland clumps. I also wish there'd been more remoulade sauce, as that was the best tasting part of the dish. It wasn't bad, just not particularly impressive. However, everyone really seemed to enjoy their main course! Our orders were varied: a steak salad, the meatballs, the steak and fries, an order of smoked wings, the brisket French dip, and my meal, the wagyu smash burger. The burger was excellent! It was a massive serving size and I honestly would've been more than fine with one patty instead of two. The meat was juicy, tender, and delightfully rich and flavorful. The bun was perfectly cushy and stood up to the meat well. The cheese was melty and the bacon was crispy but still chewy. Lastly, the garlic aioli pulled it all together! The fries were pretty good if not a *tiny* bit greasy. I got some spicy ranch for dipping and found it to be a little odd -- it wasn't super spicy OR "ranch-y," just kind of sour and very lightly hot. I wound up eating the fries mostly plain. All in all though, a minor complaint! Overall, we definitely enjoyed our lovely visit and it was a nice way to cap off our time together in Chattanooga. Thanks, FEED! read more

Recently ate at this location and enjoyed the food. There were four of us and we shared the Buffalo Calamari appetizer that had the buffalo sauce on the side. We also had the fish and chips, the salmon and the Springer Mountain Farms Chicken. The portions were large and tasty. Our server had several tables to deal with so sometimes service was slow but overall she did well. The atmosphere was unique with high ceilings. We did find that our phone service was slow so there may have been a good bit of metal around us but that just made us talk more. Except looking up info we discussed was harder. Poor us! read more

We came here for a family dinner. The Brussel sprouts were our favorite, and the Brussel and artichoke dip was also good. The fillet mignon was delicious, as well as the carrots that came with it. The pesto gnocchi was not our favorite, as it could have used more pesto, but the chicken was good. The cobbler was also a good way to finish off. My wife has often reminded me that I haven't been to FCTT. She's enjoyed both her previous visits and wanted me to check it out. So we finally did. This is an engaging space on "the main" with a lot of visual appeal. The staff are all friendly and on the look out for their guests. I'm a big one in general, but especially when it comes to creative touches. For example, the magazines in the lobby and the tables on the deck were arranged with loads of style and spunk. Our waiter was fantastic. He had to be because we had to wait SO long for our meal. The thing is that he kept engaged and told us that the kitchen staff didn't get the order quite right and had to redo it. I appreciate the transparency, but I was hungry.
