From the moment you walk In the atmosphere and staff are very welcoming. They have a variety of seating areas which makes it fun if you'd want a booth for a date night or a table for business meals or even a room for private parties! The food oh my the food, the calamari was crisp yet light, the bruschetta was fresh and tasty, the fish trio was the best of both worlds and then some. The steak trio was tender and well rounded with flavor. A bit of truffle asparagus risotto with a side of scallops took me to heaven and their loaded baked potato was one of the best I've had. They cooked everything to perfection. To top it off the sticky toffee carrot cake was fluffy and paired beautifully with the cinnamon ice cream. This place is a must and new favorite, I highly recommend !

We arrived around 9pm (we were not prepared for the time change) and they close at 10pm. I was nervous after reading other reviews from late night diners, but we had a wonderful experience. Our server was Brad, and he was top notch, 5+ stars. He had great wine and food recommendations. For starters we had the crab cake and calimari. Both were a hit. Then we had the Chefs Fish Trio and the Filet Trio, which were also very weel prepared. Our drinks were always refilled, and everyone in the restaurant was very friendly. They close at 10pm, but we didnt finish eating dinner until after 10. No one ever rushed us, and we were presented with dessert menus and assured that we could take our time. We did take our dessert to go. We couldn't stay any longer knowing we were the only people there. We had the turtle cheesecake, sticky something carrot cake and the creme brulee. All were great but the carrot cake was my favorite. When in Chattanooga, this is a great place for a steak.

I wish I could say we enjoyed our time here but the only thing redeeming about specific visit was our server, Bryson. The restaurant is lovely when you walk in. I would not say either hostesses was particularly nice but not exactly rude either. Bryson our server was just a really nice and welcoming individual. He gets 5 stars from us. We were the last reservation of the evening on a Sunday. This may be the reason our food experience was not the best. Lobster bisque was more like a creamy soup of a hint of flavor of seafood. I detected no lobster pieces but some places, like this don't have any, but I usually can taste the lobster. It tasted like a bowl of cream. I got the Oscar filet and I cut into the steak and I ate one bite and it was like eating old meat (I ordered medium rare). Very dry and chewy and the smell was very off. Everyone at the table agreed it was definitely off. The crab cake was very watery inside and the mashed potatoes were so runny like when you put way too much milk in. One bite of everything and I was turned off from eating completely. My husband's and son's delmoninco steaks were not the best but better than mine and were edible. They ate theirs but they said they would never go back for their steaks. Baked potato was good. The desserts are pretty decent. Crème brûlée I would recommend. I was pretty bummed out that visiting Chattanooga for the first time this was the experience. Side note: keeping salt and pepper shakers on the cloth seat at the table across from us for over 20 minutes till we asked the hostess to maybe remove them and wipe them off since people put their butts there is a little gross. The hostess acted like she didn't get why that would be maybe gross and the need to clean them.

Lived around the Chattanooga and north Georgia area all my life and have always heard such good things but never go around to trying it. We finally took a Friday night to do it and I can say this has to be the best steak and seafood around. The whole dining experience was amazing. Our waiter Brad was very professional and knowledgeable about recommendations and taste preferences. He made sure we were taking care with drinks, food, and ent questions. The seared tuna starter is to die for and our steaks were cooked to perfection. The seafood is very fresh and flavorful. DO NOT GO ANYWHERE ELSE TO GET DESSERT!!!!!!!! GET THE CRENE BRÛLÉE. We will definitely be back and if someone has never tried it we will highly recommend it. If you want a good date time experience get a reservation at 6:45-7:00 eat and then walk around the river, aquarium, downtown etc. the sunset is perfect and the carriage rides are right down the road. 100000000000/10

Traveling through Chattanooga and came across this GEM. The service, the ambiance, the cocktails and the meals were 10/10! We had the filet trio and the seafood trio (off menu). I'll definitely be back!

10/10 service and food was perfect one of the best steakhouses i've been to. I will be back soon. The ambience was top tier the vibe was chill and matched the mood.

Amazing. We stayed downtown and were able to walk a block to eat. My son wanted a steak so we chose Hennen based on other reviews. Friendly staff. Prompt service. Delicious food. Order: Steak & Lobster w/ side of Mac & cheese 5/5 Market fish selection cooked imperial = topped with lump crabmeat on top of a lobster risotto 5/5 Paired with a Glass of Pinot Grigio Dessert: **cinnamon doughnuts 4.5/5 soft, great taste, not too sweet **Special: Bourbon Pecan Pie 3/5 too sweet, tiny slice for the price. Definitely recommend eating here - the main courses were delicious! Pricey, but the food was top notch. I especially recommend it if you're already staying downtown for an easy walk for dinner.

Received a recommendation from a friend about this place. My wife and I came here to celebrate our 5 year anniversary and do something special. The service was very friendly and nice. Gave recommendations, however if you plan to eat here you will need to place a reservation in advance. The food was decent, but honestly wasn't fantastic. The steak was grilled to perfection, but it could use a little be more seasoning. It only comes with one side as well. The atmosphere was cool and nice. It was a good experience

It was also a beautiful day so we sat on the patio. I love that they work with local organizations for fresh vegetables and meat! Our waiter was very nice and fairly attentive. But the food... For the good - the crab cake was delicious. It was like all crab meat with no filler and was very tasty. The pimento cheese was also SO yummy. You could tell it was made fresh and had a great flavor. The pita it came with was fine, a little over-grilled. I was not crazy about the fried okra. I wish the pieces weren't just cut in half, because to me they had that slimy okra texture inside. My gf said they weren't THAT bad, but I really had to push myself to eat them. The rosemary fries have a great flavor and were crispy (I prefer thicker fries but my gf enjoyed these). I LOVE mac and cheese and was super excited to try theirs. It was very creamy and had a good flavor but there was way too much cheese for the amount of noodles. Like the ratio was pretty off. Now for THE issue. My gf ordered the Filet Mignon, medium. It came raw and without the blue cheese compound butter. By the time the waiter came to check on us, I was half done eating. He took the steak to be put back on the grill and brought it back with a bowl of crumbled blue cheese. It was still raw inside. He brought us extra fries, but by the time it came back I was done eating. She asked for it to go and it was STILL RAW. She had cut it, so it was super obvious if you looked. The manager came and talked to us and they took it off the bill, but for a $40 filet mignon it should not take 3 tries to cook it right and it still not really be right. She said there are cold spots on the grill and they're training a new line cook, but it was not a good look... I'd maybe give more of a pass if they were packed, but there was no one eating inside and maybe two other tables of folks outside.

They were okay, but for 5 bucks...what do you expect?‍. I would say the accompanying butter was supposed to be honey butter, but it seemed like regular butter to me! The server was polite, but I was scratching my head because she started with---"Let me go see what's not available anymore." Shouldn't she have done that before speaking to us?? The atmosphere is relaxed, but there isn't much to the decor. It was just casual.... there was brown butcher paper on top of white table cloths...kind of tacky really. It was busy, however, which added to the noise. Hubby and I both ordered the 1885 burger. Now, we are talkin'! The burger was delicious! . It was juicy and tasty. Just an all around fantastic burger. This alone is what will bring me and hubby back. The loaded baked potato was standard, but good too. It sounds like this experience wasn't great, but like I said, the burger alone is enough to go back to enjoy.

The welcome we received was warm -- the hostess greeted us with genuine friendliness, setting a comfortable tone for the evening. We opted for the ribeye and lamb chops. Unfortunately, the ribeye lacked savor, needing a more assertive hand with salt. The lamb chops sat on a bed of Swiss chard that, while "somewhat flavorful," leaned more bitter than complementary; the greens masked the meat rather than enhancing it. Our mac 'n' cheese was beautifully creamy, but again under‑seasoned -- smooth texture, but missing that final savor. The redeeming highlight of our evening was the Brussels sprouts and cocktails. The sprouts were wonderfully prepared -- caramelized edges, seasoned yet well balanced (more please?). The drinks displayed both creativity and skill, elevating the experience when some of the food felt like it needed a bit more refinement. Take home message: Number Ten has many of the hallmarks of a great steakhouse -- ambiance, promise in smoke, and standout sides and cocktails. Being from Texas which does beef well, the execution of some of the mains felt off-base. With just a little more attention to seasoning balance, this place could truly live up to its promise.
