Tim and his assistant arrived on time and seemed professional and knowledgeable. All we had asked…read morefor was a chimney cleaning and an inspection of the cap since a bird had recently flown down into the fireplace. Looking from the ground, and not going up on the roof, he assured me the cap was fine. However after I paid and they left I realized that there was still a pile of soot in the fireplace. When contacted Tim merely said he was trying to save me an extra $75 since my chimney was dirtier than most and his vacuum bag was full. Well, for $250 and less than an hour's time I think 2 extra minutes to change the bag in the vacuum could have been included. He may be competent, but I expect someone to complete the job they were hired to do.
