But this gym had everything I needed to get a good workout out in, AC was on & perfect temperature, I normally wear my head phones but they definitely had good gym music also. To people that complain about this gym should realize that you don't need fancy equipment just because there's some tears on the gym benches shouldn't mean you need a new one, gym equipment is very expensive & this gym is perfect & has everything you need & more. I've been bodybuilding for 11+ years & for how small the town is & the area this gym is great. Also the staff have always been friendly. This was my second work trip to this small town of Coalinga.

So I would like to say the one compliment I can give to this gym and that is the fact that yes it is affordable I think I paid $65 for a 90 day membership which is what I used to pay monthly at other places. Horrible would be an understatement to describe this gym. It has 3 treadmills, one out of order since over been here for a month. 1 stair machine, a couple of ellipticals again one out of order. There is a seated simulated rowing machine, a tall bicycle and a sit-down bicycle, a few straight bar preset weights, a dumbbell rack and then your various benches for lifting weights for chest presses, military presses and then various machines for the same purposes and cable pulls. Nearly everything in this establishment that has padding is cracked with the inside padding showing. It's pretty gross since most of the cracks are where you rest your head. It's soaked with sweat and the cleaner provided. Speaking of cleaner who knows what it is or when it was changed last, also they provide you with a reusable rag, not a wipe so it is fill of sweat and who knows what else. Most of the dumbbells are unreadable so you don't know how heavy the weight is that you're picking up. I asked the front desk attendant the first day who made me wait until after finishing his text before telling me that there is nothing he can do, he has asked his supervisor several times and gets no response. I went a second day and asked two other employees and got the same response, but with more respect. I do now believe this is an issue of our management. So why two stars, will I do keep coming back. It's not there only game in town, just the only one my son likes.
