He best part by far was in indoor play Center! I even had a blast running around it with my kids. The slides, ball pit play area for under 5 , all of it was so much fun! I want to get a Seasons pass just for the play area! You are able to purchase food in the play area and they have a nice selection for a picky eaters. If you happen to find yourself in the area I highly recommend stoping by, even if it's bad weather!

High up in the trees there are over twenty different elements to conquer including a 3G swing. For the more adventurous there is an 80ft platform from which a fan descender jump can be made as well as a 1000ft zip wire. Both respectively thought to be the longest and highest in the country! Forget climbing walls - we also have tree climbing (with dry tooling for the very experienced) to heights of 65ft! Do this as an "extra" or as a group outing where teams may race each other over three way courses to the top. This year we also have Segways! There are animals and fun rides such as the Flying Elephants (not real of course!), Spinning Teacups, a Pirate Ship, Merry-go-round, a mini roller-coaster, car and train rides, bouncy castle, crazy golf etc etc Our kids, aged 3 and 5 absolutely love it! It's their favourite place to go for a day out. There are a few animals to see, not loads but they do add another dimension. They usually have a petting session in the afternoon and our children have enjoyed bottle-feeding a calf and little goats, and handling a baby tortoise, lizard, snakes and ferrets as well as the more obvious choices like guinea pigs and rabbits. They also have shows in the theatre with Bubbly Bingo the Clown. May not be everyone's cup of tea but the kids are certainly entertained! Entry price is very reasonable and if you go at the beginning of the summer season then you can go again as many times as you like for the rest of the season and get in for half price (just hang on to your receipt!). After October half-term they are only open for weekends until Christmas but of course you do get to see the red-suited man himself and his reindeers! The best thing of all about Pettitts though is that there are virtually never any queues for the rides. You may have to wait five minutes in high season but that is all. Quite often my children have got off a ride, run round to the start and gone straight on again! Fantastic!

An astonishing waste of money. This is in short, a £100 day out for a family of four (in our case;…read more2 adults, two children, 5 and 3). Is it worth it? Certainly not. Entry cost us an eye watering £64, which admittedly we could have saved £4 on if we'd booked in advance. Lunch was around £20, and drinks though the day another £10 (4x coffee). Facepainting and other activities were thankfully free. Food isn't cheap, especially given the entry price, lunch is about £5pp and hot drinks are around £2.50 each. I had hoped that for my £100 I would get something worthwhile in return. Sadly that was not the case, I'd essentially paid for access to a woodland playground for the children, with a few side shows. What annoys me the most is that an adult pays £16.50 for nothing. There's zero value for money for an adult; you're simply there to look after your children and keep them safe. A member of staff did say "you could go on the zip line" when I asked what there was to justify the adult entry fee. I get that it costs money to run these places, and that the plethora of staff need to be paid, and that the masses of equipment need to be bought. But, if your business model relies on an "if-you-build-it-they-will-come-and-pay-for-it" form of modern highway-highway robbery, all disguised as "children's entertainment", you're looking at a limited set of patrons. Showing value for money at that sort of ticket price is essential. I should note however that the staff were very friendly and very enthusiastic. We were thankful for that at least, as they helped the children enjoy their day. I can't fault the staff at all, they were excellent. Perhaps you'll have an amazing time if you go, your kids will certainly enjoy it, especially if the sun is shining. But, for two parents to pay £33 to stand in a wood for the day you'd have to really want to be there. By contrast, you could goto Holkham Hall and pay £3 for parking, and the kids have an equally good time in a woodland playground, complete with zip line. One other thing: this isn't an "all weather" site. If it looks like rain, stay away. A lot of the equipment gets quite slippery in the wet, and there is a severe lack of cover from the elements. Everything is out in the rain, so wrap up warm and take a brolly. Incidentally there are no indoor heated areas, so if the kids get cold your day is over. Unless you can persuade them to stand under a hand dryer in the loos. Like I said, £100 to stand in a wood.

There is an entrance fee to the park but you can leave the park and re enter at any time of the day as long as you get your hand stamped as you are leaving. Senior Citizens £9.50 Though you can also purchase a family ticket for 4 people for £47.00. Although you can book online and save more money if you purchase your tickets beforehand. There is also a disco type dark room with swirling lights, a smaller area for under 2's, and another area for playing house with dressing up clothes and a book corner. We have often gone on one of their toddler mornings and paid next to nothing to get in. They also have free drinks and biscuits for the children then, as well as a complimentary tea or coffee for an accompanying adult. Plus, they put on a small craft activity as well. You are quite welcome to stay beyond the time the session ends so we have often stayed for lunch and carried on in the afternoon. You can't bring your own food in but they have a fair choice at a fair price on offer. The best thing from an adult perspective is that they have lots of lovely comfortable sofas near the play areas so you can keep an eye while relaxing for five minutes!. We went back last week, as we do go nearly all the time every year. And the managment have changed in the complex, Rubish! The showbar was big and now they have made it smaller so good luck getting a seat and you cant buy a 5 litre jug of beer anymore because of safety or something new in the goverment regulations. The prices in the spar shop is bad! I mean 90p for a can of coke which is like the bottle price! Please if you go there stitch your pockets. The one other good point is becoming an owner. I have my privilige card so I dont really need to carry around cash its just on my pitching bill at the end of the year. Don't get me wrong the park is great and really clean but the managment need to have a re-think.
