Service on the gates and in the restaurants was very slow, but the food was worth the wait and reasonably priced; only thing that was value for money: jeep trips at £15/head round the compound!!!! Falconry and Zulu shows were entertaining, though most of the animals couldn't seem to be bothered OK, I know you can't 'urge' them but give them good places to hide and guess what? The paying public can't see them. At half the price or on vouchers it would be acceptable, but £15.95 is too much for the content.

There's Stone Age stone race ( like 4 wheelers but fitted out for safety) a few different out door play areas, dinosaur trail that features Fiberglas life-sized dinosaurs, when hot outside there's a splash pad, and then out door Safari. He best part by far was in indoor play Center! I even had a blast running around it with my kids. The slides, ball pit play area for under 5 , all of it was so much fun! I want to get a Seasons pass just for the play area! You are able to purchase food in the play area and they have a nice selection for a picky eaters. If you happen to find yourself in the area I highly recommend stoping by, even if it's bad weather!

The facilities were clean and up to date, first aid provided swiftly (our fault, not the venue's!) and activities extensive! Staff were extremely helpful and seemed genuine.. We came on a school day so it wasn't busy.. We brought a picnic so can't comment on the food.. Great day out - I would recommend...

This 50-acre park is set in beautiful coastal parkland and ideally situated at Lowestoft but only just 10 minutes south of Great Yarmouth. Celebrating their 25th Anniversary in 2008 the park has all the ingrediants for a great day out and they really do have something for all members of the family and all groups whether young or just young at heart. From adrenalin-fuelled white knuckled thrill rides and coasters like Enigma, Wizzy Dizzy and Thunder Struck to white-water family favourites that are guaranteed to 'cool you off' including Timber Falls and Wave Beaker. There's even a great selection of of fun rides for the smallest adventurers. Be sure to explore the heart of the park - 'Main Street' and it's unique, interactive maritime theme!

An astonishing waste of money. This is in short, a £100 day out for a family of four (in our case;…read more2 adults, two children, 5 and 3). Is it worth it? Certainly not. Entry cost us an eye watering £64, which admittedly we could have saved £4 on if we'd booked in advance. Lunch was around £20, and drinks though the day another £10 (4x coffee). Facepainting and other activities were thankfully free. Food isn't cheap, especially given the entry price, lunch is about £5pp and hot drinks are around £2.50 each. I had hoped that for my £100 I would get something worthwhile in return. Sadly that was not the case, I'd essentially paid for access to a woodland playground for the children, with a few side shows. What annoys me the most is that an adult pays £16.50 for nothing. There's zero value for money for an adult; you're simply there to look after your children and keep them safe. A member of staff did say "you could go on the zip line" when I asked what there was to justify the adult entry fee. I get that it costs money to run these places, and that the plethora of staff need to be paid, and that the masses of equipment need to be bought. But, if your business model relies on an "if-you-build-it-they-will-come-and-pay-for-it" form of modern highway-highway robbery, all disguised as "children's entertainment", you're looking at a limited set of patrons. Showing value for money at that sort of ticket price is essential. I should note however that the staff were very friendly and very enthusiastic. We were thankful for that at least, as they helped the children enjoy their day. I can't fault the staff at all, they were excellent. Perhaps you'll have an amazing time if you go, your kids will certainly enjoy it, especially if the sun is shining. But, for two parents to pay £33 to stand in a wood for the day you'd have to really want to be there. By contrast, you could goto Holkham Hall and pay £3 for parking, and the kids have an equally good time in a woodland playground, complete with zip line. One other thing: this isn't an "all weather" site. If it looks like rain, stay away. A lot of the equipment gets quite slippery in the wet, and there is a severe lack of cover from the elements. Everything is out in the rain, so wrap up warm and take a brolly. Incidentally there are no indoor heated areas, so if the kids get cold your day is over. Unless you can persuade them to stand under a hand dryer in the loos. Like I said, £100 to stand in a wood.

Unlike most places you don't have to pay for children until they are four and yet children below this age will get a lot out of a trip here. So many fascinating animals to see and yet not vast and sprawling. Little legs will easily manage to walk round. One of the big attractions here is the tigers. There is a tiger walkway that goes above the enclosure and at one point you can be just inches away on the other side of the wire netting if they are snoozing on the platform. Also worth a mention is the reptile house. Again, you can be up close to the crocodiles and view them from above and below the water. Also the temperature in here has to be kept really warm so it is a great place to go and warm up for a few minutes if you are visiting on a chilly day, which as Thrigby is open almost every day of the year is quite likely. As well as a children's play area there is a tree top walk and a long bridge across the big pond where you can see birds of many sorts. There are monkeys and big cats too. Go round these in the afternoon and you'll see them all being fed. Also otters, porcupines, aviary plenty to see and do!

Some of the outdoor activities are only open Easter to October such as the small farm, pony rides and tractor trailer rides and maze. Other than that it is open most of the year but not on Mondays, or Saturdays when it has private parties. Indoors there is a small soft play area, with a separate area nearby for babies, the 'duck' pond (ball pit) area, a sandpit in the barn, and a book corner. There are also outdoor play areas when the weather's fine. The only problem I find when we go is that it can be hard to keep an eye on both children at once if they want to do different things because it's not altogether under one roof. Fantastic for little ones though - worth a visit!

When we were there there was sailing going on and lots of Broads boats going up and down. There is a large children's play area which was very well equipped. There is a bandstand and during the summer concerts are held on Sundays. There are toilet facilities and there is a cafe. There is a lock at one end which opens to let boats com from the sea to the Broads and if you are lucky enough to be when that happens it is very interesting. There is a pub, The Wherry just outside the park which is great for an evening drink.
