This place is terrible. Tammy is so rude. I ordered an arrangement that had SEVERAL errors on the message! NOT on my part! They even send you your message back, it clearly was not my typos. You can imagine how humiliating it was to have a bouquet delivered with MULTIPLE SPELLING ERRORS. Including my own name! I requested a refund and Tammy calls me wanting to pick up my flower arrangement. Never in my life have I encountered a company with such terrible customer service. Received a Easter tulip arrangement from The Flower Boutique and spoke with Tammy to understand why the greenery was not my arrangement like the website picture. Tammy was very argumentative during the conversation she finally admitted there was an oversight with placing the greenery in the arrangement and the hung up the abruptly...Because of the lack of customer service I will not recommend this florist to family/friends you definitely will not get what you pay for....nor will you receive good customer service from the establishment. read more

I wanted to send a special arrangement in TEAL and white for my sister who has ovarian cancer. I was very specific with the owner of the florist. Teal in the middle of the arrangement and white on the outside. I was so particular I even made her send me a sample of the spray paint she would use to spray the white flowers. Arrangement arrived. (First picture). I texted her: I'm disappointed. They aren't "teal" enough and I said teal in the middle and white outside. Not yellow". She was upset that I wasn't happy with her creation. She did try again but used the same flowers...which was okay but they were yellow! After 2nd attempt(2nd picture), I asked for my money back. They were a bit more teal but still YELLOW and NO CREATIVITY at all. Again, she wasn't happy I was complaining. The last picture was part of our conversation and the colors I was expecting. Everyone has a bad day but when she said "I was difficult and she would pray for me" I lost it. She was not professional and blamed me for her UGLY arrangement. You be your own judge. read more

Tammy hires temporary help for the holidays and then refuses to pay them. I find this extremely unprofessional. I used my own vehicle to run errands and make deliveries so she could profit. I feel used and taken advantage of. I strongly recommend not supporting this business. I hired the Flower Boutique to do flowers for my wedding. I ordered cascading bouquets and did not receive my vision. If they were cascading it was very minimal. Plus they called the day before the wedding saying they couldn't get the calla Lillie's in - I understand the challenges with supply chain, but that was a little disappointing. Eventually she said they had larger calla Lillie's that were available - I didn't really understand the point in calling me if they had a substitute. The bouquets were also much smaller than I pictured for us. The price for what we got was astronomical and I do not believe we got what we paid for. I'm all about supporting small businesses, but it was extremely upsetting for me since the flowers for our wedding we in memoria of loved ones who have departed. It's something I can't get back, but I suppose in the grand scheme of things no one noticed but my mom and I. I would not hire them again. We had other struggles with the flowers but that doesn't fall on the flower boutique. That falls on our wedding planner. I placed an order for a beautiful, colorful arrangement through 800 Flowers 3 weeks before my friend's 50th bday. When I called 800 Flowers I told them I DO NOT want any substitutions and directed them to the arrangement I wanted via the website. They then placed me on hold and called the local florist who assured them it would be exactly how I wanted it. The arrangement was nothing AT ALL what I ordered. Hardly any flowers and a lot of greens vs. a lot of flowers and not many greens as I had ordered. 800 Flowers refunded me my money. I called The Flower Boutique to let them know how disappointed I was and instantly the woman who answered was not very nice. Regardless if I was heated or upset, SHE is the business owner and I am the customer. I told her some of the flowers were wilted and dying. Her response was, "Honey, we don't sell dead flowers." Calling someone honey is quite derogatory. After that I was not very cordial to her. The arrangement was terrible, the flowers looked nothing like what I ordered and as a customer I was very upset. She hung up on me at least 5 times. She offered to pick up the flowers and bring another arrangement the next day, No thank you, the next day was not my friend's birthday. I just told her to pick up the arrangement and not replace it. She should take it back and see how awful it is. And to add to it, I ordered a Happy Birthday balloon. The balloon attached to the arrangement was a Lego balloon. For a 50 year old? Come on. She is 50, not 5. The owner said that I should have called the shop directly as opposed to 800 Flowers. I am not local to NC. That would have not been convenient for me. I use 800 Flowers all the time and regardless of who I ordered the flowers through, HER SHOP made the arrangement and it was awful. I order knowing that the person I send them to is not going to get a generic looking arrangement. I have ordered from here at least a dozen times and it is always a great experience. As father of the bride (and in business myself), I was very disappointed when the flowers were an hour and a half hours late arriving at the venue. No communication prior to advise or explain lateness. Numerous calls from me, event planner and venue owner only got a busy signal. Finally a voice answered but was no help. Asked for a call back, never got it. Had to rearrange photos, etc. creating much unneeded stress. More disappointing is the response from the owner suggesting we chose the wrong venue, numerous excuses on why they were late, and, most disturbing, yelling at my wife for their ineptness.
