I can't say enough about this florist. I have used them for multiple events, special occasions like birthdays and Valentine's Day, funeral arrangements, and flowers for my business, and EVERY SINGLE TIME their work is DROP DEAD GORGEOUS! They also have the cutest little gifts in their store, too. I've been able to contact them at the last minute for flowers and they've always jumped right on the order and gotten it out the same day. They are always warm and courteous, even when I contact them outside of normal business hours. The arrangements they do always have that little something extra that you can't put your finger on that makes them really special. If you ever need flowers in Starkville, make sure they are your one and only call. You won't be disappointed! read more

An unexpected death in Starkville late last week prompted a last-minute need for funeral flowers. My sister gave me the name of this local florist (I live in Cleveland) and I called them late Friday afternoon for a Sunday graveside service. I had the great good fortune of speaking with Whitney, who helped with my arrangement, made recommendations, and promised to take care of my order. She was friendly and fabulous, and the flower designer deserves another five stars (and if it was Whitney, then 10 stars!!) The arrangement was big and beautiful; honestly, one of the loveliest I've seen. Thank you, The Flower Company, for your superb customer service and artistic design. read more

I ordered a $125.00 funeral spray from Whitney (I later found out she was the owner) and was extremely disappointed, the spray only had 5 flowers in it, 3 roses and 2 mums. I also caught her rolling her eyes to an employee behind my back. She needs to remove mirrors from her walls if that's the level of customer service she gives. I used this shop a few years ago when a man owned it, he was nice and gave you your money's worth. Will NOT be back. read more

The Flower Company did the flowers for my daughter's wedding and reception in December. We received wonderful, wonderful service from start to finish. Whitney was very patient and spent a great deal of time with us, initially, helping us to find our vision for the wedding. She met with us several times before the wedding to make sure she understood what we wanted and was very flexible in making adjustments right up to the last minute. The flowers in the church far exceed our expectations and were absolutely beautiful!!! Bouquets, boutonnieres, centerpieces, and outside greenery were just perfect. My boyfriend got me flowers here for valentine's day. Always got great service from Haize but he sold to someone new. The lilies were too open and it didn't last more than a day before the flowers were wilting. :( read more

Not knowing what to expect from a florist being from out of town, I was highly disappointed in the attitudes of the employees and owner when a simple mistake was made on their part. There were a few miscommunications on both sides but ultimately a business is expected to be organized and experienced enough to manage those difficulties. read more
