One time, my husband called very last minute, and Angela was still able to provide a wonderful bouquet with delicious candies and a stuffed animal that his daughter still talks about to this day. Once, the Wild Iris waited to deliver a bouqet (after business hours) until after a softball practice just to ensure his daughter received the flowers and they just weren't left on the doorstep. This kind of compassion and service can not be found at other establishments. Angela treats all of her customers as if they are her own family, and that's what makes shopping at The Wild Iris so special. My security cameras picked up someone trying to get into the garage (later found out it was the delivery guy. Not sure why he would want to do that). I called and they delivered them. I was not impressed. That evening my son came by to take us for dinner and took one look and was really crestfallen. They were gorgeous - the perfect shade to match the rest of the color palate we were using for the service. When we arrived at the funeral home we were VERY disappointed as the roses clearly were NOT lavender. They were pink (and my Mother hated pink!) I asked several of the guests what color they thought the roses were, and they all agreed they were pink. When I spoke with the manager the next day, I was told the roses they used were their "standard" for Lavender or Purple roses. I shared that they definitely were NOT the lavender roses we saw and chose in their cooler when we placed the order. I shared that I was disappointed and asked if there was something he could do to make it right (like a discount of some sort?). He said there was nothing he could do as they provided the product we ordered.
