I'll give this place a 0 if thats possible! Absolute worst customer service! I would never recommend anybody from ordering flowers from this place...specially via the online. They were supposed to deliver on the 8th but sent out an email saying they "Hand Delivered" on the 9th and all day today still nothing. 5 days later the flowers never came! Order was not cancelled. We filed a complaint with Teleflora so they wont add then on their list of vendors for Pittsburgh! read more

The Flower Studio deserves *ZERO* stars if that were an option! I am noticing a trend in the reviews I've found for The Flower Studio. If you order directly from them - and they are getting all of the profit - they seem to be personable and provide a decent product. However, if the sender of a bouquet/gift uses a flower service (in this case, 1-800-FLOWERS), the quality of the delivery is subpar and frankly, should be an embarrassment to The Flower Studio. I was the recipient of a bouquet and chocolates on Saturday, January 4. I just had surgery and my boss opted to place his order through 1-800-FLOWERS. The arrangement was delivered on my porch. While I was home, I was in the shower and unable to get to the door for about 5 minutes. The delivery driver had no idea if I was home, and was therefore leaving the bouquet and chocolates on the doorstep for whenever I returned. The bouquet was dropped off without a plastic sleeve or any protection at all. There were a number of disappointments with the delivery and my subsequent interaction with the florist. Firstly, the flowers were old, limp, petals dropping, discoloring, and browning on the edges. The filler green was Christmas pine branches that they'd clearly been unable to use before the new year and were thrilled to offload on an internet order. Overall, I felt badly for my boss, who'd ordered in good faith believing that a beautiful bouquet would be delivered. Also, I've never used The Flower Studio, despite living in Peters Township, nearby. Based on this delivery, I knew I would never spend my money there unless they provided a replacement- or at least an apology. So, I called them. If I were the business owner, I would want to know if I were losing a potential customer. The lady who answered the phone was rude, belligerent, and completely disinterested in my situation or the product they'd delivered just 20 minutes before the call. Worse, I asked if I could send her photos of what had been delivered so that she could see the quality. She wouldn't give me an email address and said they were "...closing soon and wouldn't be able to do anything about it". She even mentioned that the order had come through 1-800-Flowers and told me the price my boss had paid! It was as if the poor quality was justified because it was an internet order that they really didn't value anyway. If The Flower Studio isn't interested in third party orders, they should end those relationships. It is NOT fair to the sender (or the recipient) to receive lesser quality based on how much profit is being made. The Flower Studio literally made no attempt to make good on this order. I called 1-800-FLOWERS -who apologized profusely on behalf of this florist - and made arrangements for the order to be fulfilled by a completely different florist. The NEW florist just delivered a beautiful replacement this morning - wrapped, fresh, beautiful flowers and gorgeous filler in a nicer vase with fabulous customer service. The Flower Studio should be ashamed of their performance. Looking for flowers locally? Trust your order to a florist in Finleyville, Bethel Park, or other nearby offerings with consistency and care for the customers who keep them in business. You'll be glad you did. Absolutely shocked. I had flowers sent to my Mom (via 1800 flowers) yesterday, and around 330 i got an email saying they had been delivered. At 5pm when i still hadn't heard anything from my mom, i told her to open her front door thinking they left them outside. There was nothing. Called 1800 flowers and told me that the delivery driver from the Flower Studio said that they were given to a neighbor. Umm great, which neighbor? my mom also doesn't know any of her neighbors? Neither of us received a phone call? A note wasn't left at the door or anything? NOTHING. And she never got her flowers even 24 hours later! When 1800 flowers requested that the Flower Studio redeliver they immediately called my mom and were extremely rude saying they wouldn't deliver and that my mom should go and knock on all her neighbors doors to see if they have her flowers. You have GOT to be kidding me. Her customer service was absolutely horrible and she wasn't solution minded in any way. She then told my mom "I guess just call me if you don't get them. I CAN'T send you another one though." And my mom replied and said "then why would I call you if you aren't going to do anything to make this right?" SO TRUE. The best part was after this being on the phone with customer service from 1800 flowers and she put me on hold to talk to someone from the Flower Studio and SHE HAD THE SAME EXPERIENCE WITH HER BEING SO RUDE! To the point where she is now sending this to the higher ups (yes, it was that bad.) 1800 flowers took care of the situation amazingly. Here's my advice for the Flower Studio if you would like to continue being in business... 1. Don't be rude. Be understanding, be solution minded when you have an issue. People come to you as a florist to help them celebrate amazing events in their life. So if you don't like your job (which it seems like you don't, then quit.) 2. If you don't have a phone number or are unable to call, LEAVE A NOTE! 3. If you decide to be crazy and give it to a random neighbor... leave a note for the person that says who the neighbor is, where they live and maybe a phone number? I will never work with the Flower Studio again that's for DAMN sure. Bad business. read more

If you could give less than a 1 star I would! The OWNER was delivering a basket for me and was nasty! There was ice in my driveway and she acted like it was MY fault! I have never been treated that poorly from anyone especially an owner! I felt subservient to a person who was proving ME a service and I felt like I was working for her! I will never buy anything from her shop and will tell all my friends of her treatment and hope they don't order from the shop. read more

Would not recommend ordering online, Received bouquet that was Well below expectations( Low quality flowers with minor damage) but still pretty. To keep it simple, I would not select flowers in that condition if I were picking up directly from the store. I think they may have good flowers, but the customer would need to hand pick each flower and filler for there bouquet ( and watch for damages/ wilting). Ideally you would trust the shop to take care of this for you, but It has the quantity over quality feeling when it comes to order. I've only order there once. Sucks because I'm new to the area and was just hoping to find an awesome local Go to flower shop. I have a great wife who deserves lots of flowers. My son and family sent flowers on my birthday. It was sunny but temperature was 27 degrees. The floral arrangement was left on my front doorstep without floral delivery wrap for who knows how long. When I opened the door, my flowers almost fell off the front step onto the concrete. The flowers were almost frozen and were not carefully delivered to my home. I called and asked to speak to a manager; none available. While explaining the situation, the person, who advised that she only answers the phone, interrupted me to tell me that their flowers are NEVER wrapped and that she couldn't do anything out it. I left a message for the owner, she has not returned my call. If you want beautiful live flowers carefully delivered and presented to the recipient, do not use this florist. read more

I received a lovely "thinking of you/get well" arrangement from relatives that live in Mt. Lebanon. I live in Peters Township. They were delivered on a Saturday while I wasn't home. Thankfully they were still in great shape when I arrived home. The arrangement was lovely, and it lasted for an entire week. I was quite happy with it and felt they did a great job. I did not however deal with the store itself, so I can't speak to the customer/store situation. I also might be concerned with the leaving on the doorstep, the weather was extremely hot and had I not been home until much later I'm not sure how they would have faired. read more

I went this morning to order flowers for my son's prom, knowing I was last minute as his prom is tomorrow. The lady nearly ridiculed me on how unrealistic I am to order today for tomorrow. She has no idea, nor is it any of her business, what has been going on in my life to be ordering last minute. I politely asked if it was possible to do the flowers. If she would have said "No, I'm sorry, its just too late", I would have understood, but don't treat me like a child. So unprofessional. I left so angry and went to Mt. Lebanon Florist and they not only are making me a corsage and boutineer, but said they will make it look special and unique. The Flower Studio has forever lost my business. read more

Ordered flowers for a funeral. They were the saddest I have ever ordered, anywhere. I could have done better throwing cut flowers from Giant Eagle in a vase myself. Very disappointed. $63 and they were awful. It was like they used the day's leftovers. I will not call again. read more

This was my first and only experience with The Flower Studio. I sent my son there to order his prom flowers (boutonniere and wrist corsage). He had a swatch of material from his date's dress. It was salmon colored. The Flower Studio chose to make both items using hot pink mini (really mini) roses accented with a spray of bright yellow baby's breath wrapped in salmon satin ribbon. I was so upset when I saw flowers for several reasons: 1. The colors didn't match salmon at all. They actually clashed. Those 3 colors together looked horrendous. 2. The flowers were so miniature they looked out of proportion on my son's lapel and the girl's wrist. The flowers also didn't look fresh, they looked old. 3. The price he paid for both was over $50. I feel that for the terrible choice of colors used, the size of the items and the freshness of the flowers, that my son did not get a good price at all. I was so disappointed that I sent him there. I will not use the Flower Studio again especially not for next year's prom - lesson learned. read more
