Always fun at Flying Walrus. The outdoor setup is great. There is an upstairs patio which is a perfect place to watch the band play.

I've never had worse service than my dining experience I had in this slop heap! Don't do it! Trust me!

Walking into this bar reminds me of the live music bars on 6th St in Austin.

I'm not the first, last, and am among many who have been. I was once banned for 3 days because I parked to eat across the street (Diego's farm to table has little parking and the owner himself is an awesome guy, and supports the establishment himself to boot!)... it was a Sunday before 8 so kareoke hadn't even started so trust me when I say the entire time I was parked there (out of the way might I add) the lot was never more than 1/24th full. I went the following Monday and before I signed up told me about their little ban. Also depending on the bartender you will be charged almost 3x for the same drink. Literally never order from anyone you feel you don't even remotely vibe with or they will charge you almost TRIPLE! I have this particular drink I order and it's wild how they will just upcharge you just to upcharge you my mistake is I still tip 20% like an idiot! I've also been cut off while sober multiple times it's strange. My general advice is don't be a regular. In conclusion management has a particular character but still among the best places to blow off steam... until you're banned.

We decided to walk there on a Thursday night and saw that it was karaoke night. My fave! It looked like it once was a big warehouse because there was so much space. The outdoor patio was huge with lots of benches and inside also was huge with plenty of seating. They offered arcade games and pool tables which was fun. We got a couple margaritas and it was only $10! I put my name in for a couple songs and we sat and listened to others sing for a little while. The karaoke host was nice and he lets everyone sing 2 songs back to back which is unheard of for me lol but the crowd was very nice and responsive. We had a nice low key time. The chicken wing/taco combo is solid! Everything was very affordable and I think they have some type of music playing each night.

We have been here several time to listen to the live music from local performers. The food menu is typical of what you would find at an bar n grill. We have had a bacon wrapped hot dog and fries, chicken wings, and baked potato. Everything was good. We started ordering bottled beer the last few times we came since their draft beers seemed a little too hot for our liking. The service staff is young and very friendly. They seated us immediately. The best part about it! Is that the building itself is a part of the town's history. Come check it out, and learn some of Alamo's history.
