She ended up examining me and deciding that she needed to explore and see what was really going on in my foot. She was not expecting and had not scheduled this, however she knew I was in pain so she asked me to go have lunch and the. Come back to wait until she could fit me in. I went to lunch and when I came back I waited a little while as was expected, then she performed the procedure. She was wonderful and took care of my foot! She said she would let me make payments and not to worry that she could not leave me in that kind of pain. She did the procedure and her staff set up the payment plan. She continued to see me for follow up care while I was still working on the bill. Her staff was always very kind as well. I highly recommend her!

Comments mentioned that the wait time was excessive, that Dr. Ocampo was rude, had a poor bedside manner, that they felt rushed during their appointment. I found this to be thoroughly inaccurate. The registration process was fast and efficient. Within 20 minutes, I had been processed, my insurance information had been collected, and I'd had an x-ray. Dr. Ocampo was very pleasant and attentive. I didn't feel rushed in the slightest. He seemed like he had no where else to be, but with me helping me with my issue.

Orthopedic surgery has come along way since I had my knees replaced. My shoulders are healing nicely and the scarring is minimal. When a person is put in a position of becoming partially metal you want someone who has the experience that Sportmed brings. Our amateur athletes as well as our professional teams rely on being able to play again without worry about their joints - so do we, the average persons dealing with aging joints and wear and tear and pain that living brings. Dr. Jack Moore has had my back since the first visit. When your whole life will be changed with surgery you have to have hope weighed against a less than optimal outcome. We live in a wondrous world where science and the human body can improve and lengthen your life span. After I had the second surgery I had sluggish nerves and so less than optimal results. I know some surgeon get a bad rap for not being a miracle workers. I know some would pawn you off to another practice. Through this very painful year Dr. Moore reassurance has buoyed me through to trust the science. He never told me to give up. He is still by side as I adjust to not being in pain from moving.
