Well guess what, it did, More Eatery did not disappoint, it was excellent! It's a store, take-away and eat in all in one. Given the amount of people picking up food there is no secret locally that the food is good. Our service was good, with two ladies taking care of whatever was needed. The menu items are quite eclectic, but with the ingredients all printed on the menu you know exactly what you are getting which I appreciate. I chose the Italiano Benny which had pork belly on focaccia topped with poached eggs, arugula, tomato, a pesto hollandaise and mashed taters. It was delicious, flavourful and very filling. The lovely K had the Breaky Wrap which had bacon, scrambled eggs, arugula, green and pickled onions, cotija cheese, a cilantro crema and tater tots along with mashed taters. It was also outstanding and filling. It's bright and airy inside with items for sale that are cool and different, and the aforementioned take-away keeps the traffic moving. Overall with last nights top quality meal, and this one the following morning, the food scene here is Campbell River is alive and vibrant. Can't wait to return.

Our only issue was its on a curve on a 90k highway and is a scary spot to pull out from and you can easily miss it going North. Signage to warn traffic of turning vehicles and big caution signs and lower speeds on that stretch should be implemented by highway department.

It should be noted that it is super hard to find an open restaurant on a Sunday during the Easter…read moreweekend. After driving for about 1.5 hours and find Sue's B & B and Brown's Bay Marina Restaurant both closed, we were super hungry when we finally arrived at this place. This is a really small "hut" and when we approached, we weren't even sure whether there is real food or it's just a convenience store. We were SUPER excited when we discovered that they served food. The place was small, cozy, and packed with people. There was only a lady cooking in a home-style kitchen, so don't expect your food to arrive that quickly. People also seemed to know each other, and I've never felt that way in Vancouver before. My husband ordered a seafood chowder and salmon grilled cheese while I ordered a seafood melt. The portions were very generous, and the food was SUPER good. DID NOT expect food to be at that quality AT ALL when we first entered. Highly recommend this place for anybody going to Campbell River for whatever reason. One thing special to note is that they allow dogs to go in, so some people may have problems with that. I love dogs though.
