Above and beyond! This place doesn't stop amazing me. I attended several weddings here and they were all perfect, I took everything for granted. Last weekend I saw them doing the impossible! The wedding ceremony was to take place outside and everything was ready. A few minutes before seating down it started raining. Here's what happened: the staff took apart the reception room and set it up as a ceremony room, in minutes! Everything went on schedule. Afterwards while the people were at the cocktail hour, they transformed the "ceremony room" into to a dining room! Everything was flawless and there was enough time for the bride and groom to take their pictures with all the decorations! Weddings are once in a lifetime events and these people have the knowledge and the muscle power to make everything run smoothly! Honestly I didn't know this was possible. They did it all with a smile on their faces, most of the guests had no clue as to what happened. There's some things that money can't buy this is one of them! read more

Went to a wedding here in March and it was not my favorite. The first thing I have to say was that the cocktail hour was in the lower level (basement) of Fox Hollow. I waited in line at the bar for about 15 minutes and by the time I go to the bartender and asked for a water... the bartender told me they did not have any water. I was 7 months pregnant at the time and obviously cannot drink and the bartender told me to check the other bar. Frustrated beyond belief, I sent my husband to the second bar who the bartender looked confused and said he did not have water as well. My husband had to go to the first floor to find someone setting up the main ballroom to give me water. How can you be a wedding venue and hope people are safe with drinking and not have water available at the bars?! The basement cocktail hour was also very crowded, dark and had no signal. The food was meh for cocktail hour and dinner. Would not recommend. read more

My daughters wedding was at The Fox Hollow on 5/31/26. I have to say it was an absolutely beautiful wedding, really flawless. The getting ready room was huge, I think it was called the Hunt Room, located in the Inn next door. It was a large Bridal Party, 16, and the room accomodated everyone plus makeup artists and hair stylists. A quick walk to the venue, we took a peek at the ceremony area outside and the grounds. The ceremony area was decorated impeccable, really beautiful! The weather was perfect, the previous Sunday was the torrential rain storms from morning to night! The bridal attendant catered to my daughter the entire affair. There was mixed reactions about the food. It all comes down to your prefference and food selection which I wasn't included in at all. They didn't skimp on anything and the service was exceptional, professional and accomodating. Unfortunately for me I missed half the cocktail hour because the family pictures ran late but from what I got to e perience, everything in the cocktail was perfect. Lots of pass arounds, the little franks were delicious, chinese section was above average, the meats in the carving station were tender and flavorful. The entire affair was very organized. The room where the reception was held was just beautiful and decorated lovely! Service again was top notch and guests were given a choice of 10 dinner selections. I have to be honest, I did not choose well. The Filet Mignon I ordered medium but it was more on the well done side and really not much gravy. I didnt like the Potato Au Gratin that came with it but others raved about all the food. The Duck many said was above average. I would definitely recommend having a wedding at The Fox Hollow. They really went out of their way to make my daughters wedding flawless and it was absolutely a day to remenber! read more

My brother and I had to meet a future business associate at the FOX HOLLOW. We were to meet him at the outside bar. While waiting at the bar I asked the so called beast of a bartender if they served BLUE MOON? She replied " I will be with you in a minute ". Just wanted a yes or no response, by the way... she then proceeds to take drink orders from three different groups of people.... 2O minutes later I asked her again . Just wanted a yes or no... finally she replies yes. Proceed to order it. No glass or orange. Asked for a glass. Told me we only have plastic cups. That's fine. My brother had his beer. Never asked me if I wanted a drink. Walked inside to the hotel and served myself a glass of water. While waiting for our host, there was a complimentary buffet . Helped ourselves to some fruit. The so called manager asked us if we were staying at FOX HOLLO and our names. We gave the so called person our names but informed her we were waiting for our host. She said there is a $30.00 charge for the buffet. We assumed it was a Hapoy Hour. I said not a problem but we are waiting for our host as we were guests of his and offered to pay the money. As I am waiting for the bartenders attention with my cash in my hand she is reminding the bartender to charge us. THREE TIMES. She said we were " taking advantage of the hotel' ARE YOU KIDDING ME??? while waiting I whispered something to my brother and she replied THATS IT YOU ARE LEAVING.... So lets Get this straight: first you are charging me while waiting for my host, second you are asking me to leave after humiliating me when I am WAITING to pay.... That was it we were done with this. I went to the hotel front desk and asked for the HOTEL MANAGER. As we are being helped by the front desk associate the so called manager said " that's it I am calling the police"!!!!! are u kidding me? Maybe I should be calling ICE on her. Maybe in her country or from wherever she comes from she can speak to people like that but she spoke to the WRONG PERSON .... She then said she knows me! Everything! The Mother's Day Brunch was terrible. I was with family I hadn't seen in a few years - 8 of us altogether at the 1:00 seating. The only thing that was good was the omelet station. The beef from the carving station was extremely rare, the chicken piccata and mashed potatoes were ice cold - no one was checking to see if the stereos on the chafing dishes were still lit (they weren't), and the desserts left a lot to be desired. Certainly not worth $45 per person plus a very generous tip. Our total bill was over $400! My entire family thought it was a terrible experience. Beautiful venue but mediocre food. Went here for a family member's wedding. They served breakfast, ouvere and dinner Break was light but with a lot of option, the fruit juices quickly ran out in the welcome hall and the wasn't enough seating to accommodate all guests indoors. After that there, all guest went outside for the ceremony. It was nicely set up but unfortunately either the mic wasn't working or the sound was off. Guest could not hear the ceremony at all. Sad that they didn't sound check before such an important occasion. Then came the in between snack, the bride and groom had a buffet lunch set up for everyone in the welcome hall. There was a lobster and seafood cart! Which was delightful. Servers weren't able to keep up with cleaning the tables of empty plates. I had to ask a few times to clear the table by the couches as it was overfilling. Dinner, the food was rather lackluster. We ordered the fillet mignon and found the cook to be inconsistent, some of us got served well done when we wanted medium. While some of wanted it more cooked but got medium rare. Total disaster. My steak was rather dry, We left dinner starving. Went to Costco later for a hotdog Bartenders were godsent, they kept the drinks coming. Recommend to eat elsewhere read more

I could not recommend The Fox Hollow enough. It's a beautiful location with a magnificent team. I was here as a wedding photographer for the day. For me it's a great place to work as it's not far from my home and it's a great venue for pictures. We all got here and pretty much hung out at in The Bridal Suite until we went out with the family to take pictures. This is a fabulous place since there are multiple areas for photos and we took advantage of all of them both durning the day and in the evening when they turn on the different colored lights. Room was large and easily accommodated the guests for the party. The manager in charge was constantly in communications with me to ensure proper placement of things (cake for example) to get the maximum quality pictures. The staff here is fabulous. It's very nice that they treated me (as a vendor) with the utmost respect, constantly asking me if I needed anythin. When it cam to dinner time, they brought our (the DJ and my meal) to a seperate room to eat. Dinner was excellent. Wedding Day Nightmare: Don't Take the Risk Upon check-in, the Fox Hollow hotel gave us the wrong room. We only found out when another person was ALSO given a key and surprisingly entered! (This issue was mention in other comments and owners said it was addressed... guess not.) The hotel made us move rooms without offering help--despite having very few carts for a fully booked property. Then the night before our wedding, the air conditioning in the room failed, and they couldn't relocate us. Instead they brought fans that kept us awake and uncomfortable all night. The next morning, we pushed a cart loaded with all our belongings and my wedding dress up and down the hall to three different rooms--none of which had a hook for my wedding dress. I finally had to borrow a family member's room to hang the dress and to invite the girls in for hair and makeup. By 9 a.m., I was in tears and shaking on my wedding day because of this hotel and its staff who was rude and unhelpful. Their only apology? One bottle of champagne for a room of 13 women getting hair/makeup done. We ordered another bottle and it took more than an hour to arrive, delaying pictures and angering our wonderful photographer. Once we walked over to the venue things didn't improve. The candlelight ceremony we were promised and had dreamed of for more than a year included ZERO LIT CANDLES! They were told that they were automatic and not set correctly. Additionally, several times we said we only blue and white lighting but the venue had a bright red spotlight behind the alter. All our ceremony pictures are ruined. I called the venue shortly after to ask what happened and the first thing the coordinator Hilary did was put the blame on the grieving bride, "Well did you ASK for all that? Did YOU say something at the time?" she said, as if it were the first time we'd spoken of this. That thoughtless and rude response while we were in tears angered us almost more than the mistake itself. One mistake is forgivable--this was beyond. Do not gamble with your wedding day. read more

By all means, the Fox Hollow was and will always be a great venue for any occasion. Married there 25 years ago, people still say the BEST WEDDING THEY EVER ATTENDED. Granted, my wife and I did it PROPER and Over the Top with the best food and every option you could think of (at the time). We were recently there for a Christmas wedding, the place was set up well, with multiple rooms to accommodate different parts of the wedding. From the I-do's to the cocktail hour and a beautiful room set up for the main event. We very much enjoyed the cocktail hour food, and found the selection was much better. However the main reception dinner (I ordered the red snapper), it was really nothing to rave about. The fish was rubbery, dry and you can tell it was directly from a microwave. The cocktail hour contained many different stations, and some of the highlights were the eggplant, calamari and the duck tacos. Overall the venue was beautifully set up for the occasion, the food during cocktail hour is a hit, however the main course was terrible. Definitely left a memorable experience! read more

I came here for a holiday party and the place looked amazing. The staff was super friendly and attentive. Their bartenders were great especially Justin. He made the drinks very well! The food was okay but it was many different options. They offered steak, mashed potatoes, eggplant rotini, pasta w/veggies, chicken francese, scallops and shrimp, and mixed veggies (zucchini, squash, carrots). I'm not sure if the DJ and the photobooth came with the venue but they were great as well. I would recommend this place as a place to host a company's holiday party. read more

EXTREMELY DISRESPECTFUL, UNPLEASANT, UNPROFESSSIONAL EXPERIENCE - TOTAL DISASTER, DO NOT RECOMMEND!!! People say third time is the charm but ABSOLUTELY NOT for this place. I had already been here twice as a bridal party without any trouble but not the third time. Starting with very misleading reservation system, my friend, the bride was informed that the wedding package comes with the bridal suite in the early morning to get ready for hair and makeup on the day of, however, it was only a week prior to the wedding day, they reached and "reiterated" that it'd be only available starting at 10am for 11am wedding so if we need a place to get ready early, we must book a separate "getting ready room" (conference room in the hotel) at an extra cost of $500, which would be available starting at 5:30am. As the bride only discovered these "fine prints" last min, she had no choice but to pay the extra cost and book the room. At that time, initially, she also booked another room for grooms' party just in case but cancelled it a few days later receiving the cancellation confirmation from them. On the wedding day, the full bridal party with hair & makeup staffs all arrived prior to 5:30am but the room was NOT available. When we inquired the situation to the front desk staff, the lady was extremely rude by scolding at us (yes, that is right!) that she has no idea/control outside of the front reception area so not only she cannot help us but also not to ask her anything (WHAT??). She didn't even attempt to reach out to anyone - staff or manager, whomever would have any visibility or could possibly help us out. As we were waiting for the right staff to show up in the hotel lobby, we all started to get extremely anxious that this would delay the whole wedding so the bride asked if we're allowed to use this messy & uncleaned hotel bar area to start getting ready, only then she answered yes and brought us some water saying someone should be on the way - as a hospitality professional, shouldn't you be first apologetic, and proactively offer another alternative to resolve the conflict for your clients?! After a long wait of 45mins, the staff finally showed up and when she found out the situation, only said "Oh I wish I knew I had to show up at 5:30am, no one told me". There was no apology whatsoever. Unbelievable. Also when we finally got an access to the room, all the beverages and pastries were slowly delivered by bits in pieces, after more than an hour and half wait at that point. A few hours later, a manager popped up in the room saying that he "apologizes" what had happened so would like to offer a bottle of champagne (when it was actually a cheap prosecco bottle) and $150 credit discount towards $350 fee. Again, the room reservation fee was actually $500, not $350. Ridiculous. This whole entire experience was extremely unprofessional, disrespectful, and unpleasant, which gave everyone bad taste to start the wedding day morning and our schedule was of course at least half an hour delayed so had to rush thru everything frantically. Fastforward, the bride was charged with the full $500 getting ready room PLUS the cancelled room which they confirmed previously. And they're not honoring the dispute; refuse to refund any amount saying they have served all the services rightfully, when they did not. While the bride is now trying to take this dispute thru her C/C company, wanted to share this terrible experience for everyone to watch out. *P.S. They offered a complimentary suite room at the hotel on the wedding day (apparently, it's a part of the wedding package), where the bride got locked into the bathroom for over an hour due to old malfunctioning lock. The hotel staff struggled so hard to try to break the lock which didn't work, so eventually one of the guests had to help to open the door to free her (I was there to witness the whole thing live...INSANE!). The bride came out with her skin peeling off on her hands when she tried to unlock the door from inside, I really think she should sue them for all the crazy experience. read more

We got married at Fox Hollow in the Garden Terrace room and any couple would be lucky to have their big day there. Our Maitre D Arthur, bridal attendant Sofia and the rest of the Fox Hollow team truly made us feel like a King and Queen for the day and we can't recommend Fox Hollow enough. Arthur and the team executed on our plan, vision and schedule perfectly and went above and beyond anything we asked of them. The team took great care of us and made sure we had time to eat and enjoy the day while also making sure all of our guests were taken care of and enjoyed their evening. Sofia took great care of us from checking in on us frequently, helping bustle the dress and anything else we needed. From the moment we exited our limo the staff was ready to meet us and even helped transport additional flowers to the reception hall. The team also brought several different types of food from cocktail hour, additional entrees, desserts and the top of our wedding cake to our hotel suite at the end of the evening and were happy to also transport extra decorations back to to the hotel for us. We decided to do the after party with pizza and garlic knots and it was a huge hit us and all of our guests. Overall Fox Hollow helped make our big day truly a once in a lifetime experience, we cant recommend them enough and we can't thank Arthur, Sofia and the rest of team enough. read more

This adorable hotel, nestled close enough to the city was a great place to stay for the week. Not only was a full breakfast provided every morning, but Mon-Thurs 6-7:30pm, they provide a full dinner as well. The food was actually pretty good. I felt spoiled. Customer service was excellent and The room was huge with a comfortable bed. We even had amazing a/c. Some of the reviews mentioned poor a/c. It's actually poor door closing. The sensor is at the top of the inside door and with this older hotel, the doors need readjusting. If your a/c monitor says Door, try pushing your door until that word is gone. So why would I give this 5 star hotel a 4 star? We were put on the bottom floor room 142 right across from Housekeeping. They came bumping and banging every morning at 6am and in the middle of the night at 3am. Completely unacceptable!!! We stayed a whole week listening to this horrible wake up call. Unprofessional. I had attended my friend's wedding earlier this month. After a lovely afternoon ceremony at a church, we all headed to the reception later that evening at Fox Hollow. The venue of course is really nice. I saw they had hotel accommodations but the wedding party had provided rooms closer to the ceremony for those needed it. I was greeted by the valet employees when I drove up and was asked which event I was attending. I replied "the wedding reception" and was asked which one. Of course it makes sense that such a venue would have more than one event happening. The valet employees were efficient but very polite. After identifying which party, I made my way in and was greeted by some female employees who pointed me in the proper direction. The initial gathering room was very spacious with a bar and lots of buffet style food. The were employees walking around giving champagne glasses and small appetizers like ceviche and shrimp cocktail. As far as food goes this was the highlight even tho there was a limited time to chow down. The line to the bartender moved at a good pace but if you did not secure a table, you most likely had to stand up to eat. Luckily I found a couch area with space that I shared with a few other people. The steak was very good. I liked the seafood paella as well. There were shrimps in a savory sauce at another station. Employees were at each station serving and letting us know which dish was which. There was also designated employees coming around collecting empty plates. The main venue was ready after a bit of time and we were instructed to make out way to one of the main rooms. There was a large display with the table assignments as we entered. The room was enormous with at least 13 tables, dJ booth and two bars. Each table could seat Approx 10 people. For the dinner options there were 10 entrees to choose from Filet mignon - Chianti sauce, cherry tomatoes, asparagus, carrots, sautéed spinach, potatoes au gratin Land and sea - petite filet mignon and shrimp with a citrus lobster sauce, potatoes au gratin, sautéed vegetables Citrus shrimp - gulf prawns served in a citrus lobster sauce, red wine laro sautéed vegetables (gluten) Roasted stuffed Chicken - onion spinach and parmasean stuffed breast, fennel gratin and basil mashed potatoes Duck al' orange - crispy Long Island duckling filled with fruit and topped with Grand marnier glaze (gluten) Braised pork shank - braised and roasted pork shank with a rum orange sauce served with whipped polenta North Atlantic salmon - pan-seared with a creamy lemon artichoke sauce, sautéed vegetables and basil mashed potatoes Barramundi - South Pacific sea bass served with coconut rice with an orange beurre blanc Spinach and cheese cannelloni - pasta filed with ricotta, fresh spinach and homemade mozzarella (vegetarian / gluten ) Mediterranean trio - Hummus grilled zucchini, eggplant salad, stuffed stewed tomatoes served with cauliflower triangles (vegan) As you can see the options all sounded delicious and something for everyone. I was intrigued by the duck al' orange dish as I have ordered duck dishes before but not this style. I was bit underwhelmed with the main course but it was tasty. The entertainment and festivities all night were the highlight of course. The DJ and MC did a good job of getting people to dance (I was planning to a walk flower) and I got out there and embárrales myself. The women were given flip flops slippers to use in case they could not dance in their dress shoes. The bride and groom and their family was able to celebrate the special day and from what I can see everyone had fun. One if my friends she appeared to have misplaced her shoes so she must have had a lot of fun. When leaving the valet got my car promptly and made sure to show appreciation by tipping. Was here a few months ago for a wedding. To say the experience here was abysmal would be generous. -The venue wasn't clean. There was dry, cakey bird shit all over the tables in an outdoor space they KNEW would be used. -The staff was not knowledgeable about the food being served and repeatedly failed to clarify and get us information about what was being served. I repeatedly asked if items contained nuts and never got answers, which is a HUGE issue since my husband and I both have allergies. We were clear about this. We asked multiple servers. They just ran off and never came back. During dessert service, I saw macarons on the dessert tray (those contain almond flour!!!!) and I asked once again if there were any nuts in the food on the table. The server said "Don't think so", then disappeared. This is a serious issue and could kill someone. -The food was horrendous. Dry, bland, bad. Just bad. I requested my steak rare, and it was cooked beyond saving, gray throughout, tough as a boot. Shrimp were rubbery and overcooked. The second attempt was no better. If they can't cook steaks to requested temps, they shouldn't offer. Over all, it was horrible. If the bad food wasn't bad enough, the near criminal lack of consideration of allergy needs should be all you need to stay away. read more

We;ve stayed here several times for several reasons. The first was 15 years ago the night of our wedding... the most recent... oddly an escape from our house without heat on a cold night! The hotel is beautiful, and the rooms are well appointed. We were warm and comfy! We spent more than a few hours at the bar watching football (go Giants!). Like most hotel bars, it's not a bargain, but our host kept the cold ones coming... and the snacks were very good. On other occasions we've had dinner a Volpe, which we found to be excellent. The Fox Hollow was the best venue we could've ever chosen for our wedding. My husband and I could not have been more taken care of by staff. Our maitre D Arthur was beyond fantastic. He was so organized and determined to make our day exactly how we wanted. We came in to meet with Arthur 5 days prior to our wedding and he helped plan with us for 2 hours and set up the room with decorations so that there were no surprises on wedding day. When we areived On wedding day he walked us through the venue and our cocktail hour rooms and ballroom and we were blown away with how efficient and how perfect everything was down to the smallest details we had talked about. our bridal assistant Sophia was amazing. Anything we wanted was done in milliseconds And she couldn't have been any over to us. The staff at Fox Hollow were beyond incredible and I couldn't recommend Fox Hollow enough. As a bride I didn't have to worry about a thing on my wedding day, because I knew the staff would have it covered. Extremely Disappointing and Unprofessional Experience at Fox Hollow I used to recommend Fox Hollow--I even got married there myself eight years ago, as did two of my close friends. But after my recent experience as a bridesmaid, I absolutely would not recommend it to anyone. The bride reserved the convention hall to get ready before her 11 AM ceremony, with hair and makeup scheduled for 5:30 AM. We arrived on time, only to find that no one on staff had any idea about the reservation. We stood around waiting, with zero support from the hotel manager, who simply repeated that there was "nothing she could do." Completely unacceptable. When we finally got access, the room wasn't even ready. The bride had paid for pastries and coffee--since outside food isn't allowed--but they were delivered ridiculously late. The delay caused unnecessary stress and rushed our entire getting-ready process. Fox Hollow promised a refund for the convention hall fiasco, but then charged the bride $500 for only three hours. To make matters worse, a staff member who came to "apologize" didn't even know what we were charged--he generously offered $100 off, thinking the room cost $300. It was both insulting and clueless. Things didn't improve during the reception. Our table was missing four chairs, staff cleared plates before guests were done eating, and most requests--like coffee--were ignored or forgotten. The service was sloppy and careless from start to finish. For a venue that charges premium prices and hosts weddings every weekend, the complete lack of professionalism and accountability is inexcusable. food is trash. the food they GOT RIGHT was the smallest portions I've ever seen. gratified tv dinner but somehow just as bad. the steak was dry and over cooked yet somehow slimy with whatever "sauce" they attempted to make the plate look fancy with. inedible, and i'm not picky when it comes to steal. this is the first steak I've ever not finished. this got one revolting bite. gross dried up rectangle potato mess accompanied this steak on it's journey to the trash. waste of food. learn to cook. even the appetizer prosciutto tasted like dog slobber. dirty glasses. overpriced nonsense. bathrooms are absolutely disgusting. there's not enough purple LEDs in the world to make me enjoy this place. the DJ is also awful and so unskilled musically, but not sure if that's this places fault. if you're already very drunk or on drugs, or a hog, maybe this place will fill your needs. if you consider the McRib to be a culinary masterpiece, this place is for you! but to those who are looking forward to a nice meal in a nice atmosphere, keep looking! don't waste your money or time here. read more

It's the fox hollow so there isn't much to complain about when it comes to ambiance, the waitstaff was fun and the salmon was cooked to perfection. This was my first time here for a work even I'm usually here for weddings and im sure I'll be back since wedding season is ahead. read more

You know that feeling you get when you just know something is right? That's how my fiancé, Sean and I felt after viewing the Somerley Room at the Fox Hollow for our wedding. Although I'd never actually been to the Fox Hollow for an event, I knew that they had a reputation for throwing a great affair, exquisite food, and an unbeatable ambiance. The bar was already set high prior to walking in there. On a 1-10 scale, I expected a 12. What we got was a 30 and THE GREATEST WEDDING that anyone could have ever asked for! Victoria S., who planned our wedding with us, was kind, patient, and beyond accommodating. She held our hand from start to finish and genuinely cared that we had a great wedding. She made the planning process easy, clear and most importantly not stressful. When you are booking your wedding, you want someone like her. It makes the experience that much better! Our Maître d' was Matt V. You want to talk about a seasoned professional? That was him. He was fun to work with, created a comfortable environment for us to be ourselves and express our love the way we wanted to. He managed to seamlessly wow a room of 240 people in such a way that seemed effortless and natural. The staff (servers, bussers, bartenders, valet, our captain Ana and our 2 groom's attendants Glenda and Yani) were top notch. Their attention to details and commitment to do their jobs perfectly was impressive and a testament to the hard work Victoria, Matt and the rest of the Fox Hollow team puts into training. I always thought I was just going to book a wedding venue, but now I realize how important the culture of the venue itself is to the turnout of a successful affair. The. Food. Was. Perfect. Presentation was well thought out and the taste was top notch. Execution was flawless. We also had the new "Strollin' Cannoli" hit the dance floor for dessert. It was definitely a must have and I will never forget the excitement and joy that this new feature brought to the dessert portion and the party as a whole. I was a bridesmaid in my friend's wedding and that's how I got to visit Fox Hollow for the first time. The venue is beautiful. Her wedding was in April and luckily even though there was still a chill in the air we had some great sunshine for the day. We started the day in her bridal suite getting hair and make up done and taking some pre-wedding photos. I spent part of that time trying to get my somewhat unruly son dressed because he was one of the ring bearers. My friend was smart the children did not get the real wedding rings because that is a recipe for disaster. No one wants to play find the small jewelry that's worth a few grand. The rooms are very nice looking her bridal suite was very big but she needed it getting a kind of big wedding party together. They did wedding photos outside, we spent far too long taking photos in my opinion but photos are also a big part of remembering the wedding. The ceremony was outside and the staff did a good job of lining the wedding party up for everything. The cocktail hour was amazing, so much food, I went up to the spinach pie station for at least 5 pieces of spinach pie. I don't really remember much about the dinner I ate, or the dessert. I was stressing out because my 6 year old isn't easy for me to manage and he never sits down for anything, maybe when he's older. He's at least at a point where he's somewhat behaved it's a crap shoot depending on his mood but there are adults that act like that too. I had my wedding at Fox Hollow last Sunday the 24th at the Winter Garden Pavilion. It was nothing short of the wedding of my dreams. Everything was BEAUTIFUL! Our initial sales manager, Bruce Cocchi hooked us up from the moment we met. From extra hors d'oeuvres at the cocktail hour, to an extra suite and two night stay at their hotel. Our wedding day maître D, Matt was fantastic as well as my bridal attendant. They made sure that our day went smoothly, and that it did. Food and drinks were great, staff were nice and attentive, and the grounds are absolutely gorgeous! WEDDING OF THE CENTURY! I can't thank Fox Hollow enough for giving me the wedding I've always wanted. 10/10 highly recommend. read more

I have definitely reviewed this place before but here we go again! I've been to a total of 10 weddings here and each time I go I know to eat beforehand because the food here is just...Not good. The place is beautiful with bright rooms of differing sizes but everything else is lacking. Cocktail hour food is fine but leaves a lot to be desired. The bartenders always make a stiff drink which is much appreciated! The paella at cocktail hour was delicious but everything else was lacking flavor and the Portuguese style chicken was impossible to chew. At the reception I ordered the pasta dish since the chicken wasn't great at cocktail hour and I'm not much of a steak person. It was just okay. More mozzarella than pasta or sauce. There was an in-between dish of steak on a stick and the steak was gray and inedible. Our entire table skipped it. I heard from others that the filet mignon was incredibly dry and the chicken was one lousy piece with a disappointing side. I know it's catered and we can't expect the best based on that alone but this place has had constant issues with food quality for YEARS! The staff here is not helpful whatsoever. Nobody knew where to go for cocktail hour after the ceremony in the garden area (which is actually a very nice setup). Staff was standing around not telling us anything until another staff member stepped in and told us where to go. The restrooms are nothing special. No attendant. No hairspray. Nothing that most other Long Island venues have on a wedding day. 3 stars for the bartenders and the dance floor! Everything else gets zero stars. read more

The Fox Hollow has a great reputation on the Island but I found myself disappointed a couple of times throughout the night of a corporate event. Waiting on the valet for over 10 minutes was quite off putting especially since I was directed to the back of the place and could've taken a shortcut to save myself all that time. You would think that for such a large venue they would have the valet working like clockwork. Our event was in the Somerley which was absolutely gorgeous. The room is modernized yet still felt very cozy. The acoustics were great for the presenters as well. The food options were limited. When we walked in there was a duo of prosciutto with mozzarella and tomato sitting next to a fresh salad. The menu said that there was a vegetarian appetizer but the wait staff didn't enter until at least 10 min later so that would be difficult to ask for. Being pregnant I had to wait to ask if the cheese was pasteurized which it was! But I still had to hand my prosciutto off to someone else. The menu options were very limited but perhaps that was the fault of the company hosting the event. I would just never order the vegan option ever again. I recommend you never do either. The coffee and donuts "to-go" station was cute but the donuts were noticeable stale as I went to put mine in a bag. I also think boxes would've worked better than bags. I do hope to come back so I can see what else is offered and hopefully have a better parking experience. read more

It's honestly disappointing the Scotto family owns this place, as I like their restaurants. Unfortunately this place falls short. I've been here numerous times for weddings and events and the food, service, and bar is consistently bad. The venue itself is decorated rather nice. It's a wedding factory so there's always tons of people and other events going on while your there. The food is consistently bad and either undercooked or over cooked. The most recent time we were there the bacon wrapped shrimp was not only cold, but it was raw, this was for our whole table. Dinner wise the mashed potatoes were the best thing. As for the bar I know they only serve what the hosts selects but they shouldn't run out of the selected drinks. This past event the bar ran out of budlight and the "top shelf" vodka, so they switched to rack.... this is not only inconvenient for the guest, but rips off the host who paid for top shelf or the selection beer. Overall a pretty disappointing location for any event. read more
