A HUGE shoutout to this place for making the night so special. My brother in law just made Chief of his fire house, so this is where the installation dinner was held. Not only was the place beautiful, but the food was out of this world. I don't know even know where to begin. The cocktail hour was incredible. From sushi, to chicken and waffles, they had it all. There was a Mac and Cheese station, a prime rib station I mean I can go on and on. The main part of the night was just as amazing and it was held in their beautiful reception room. The staff was exceptionally on point. They even came over and asked if we wanted seconds. At this point I wanted to crawl under the table and take a nap. That definitely didn't happen because 10pm was the Viennese hour (aka the Dessert Bar). As I sipped a shot of Bailey's I packed goodies to go including candy, a soft baked pretzel, cookies, and popcorn. I did this while passing the ice cream, flambée and chocolate fountain stations. I'm sorry to have failed you all but by this time I was beyond full and needed to dance it off. Weddings are no joke in NY and this is one of the places that live up to its reputation. Could not recommend Larkfield enough! Ashley worked with us from Day 1 to help us plan our day exactly how we wanted it and was very accommodating with every single one of our requests. She was also extremely responsive and kind! Peter was very helpful as the day came closer as well. On the day of our wedding the venue looked absolutely beautiful, the food was fantastic (we have received so many compliments about the cocktail hour), and the staff was so helpful. VERY VERY disappointed, as we received a menu with a price tag at 95.00 per person, I paid because i wanted to enjoy all that was on the flyer and only had a baby lamb chop just 1 piece. NO OTHER butler Hors' D'oeuvres the list of 14 items listed, I never tried any other maybe our table was forgotten. Salad was NOT Caesar Salad. Pasta was NOT rigatoni Filetto Di Pomodoro. NO FILET MIGNON present shell steak only Sadly, this was not worth the 95.00 AS LISTED ON THE FLYER. I will not go back I will advise THE company I was with, not to commit to any more Christmas parties there as you mislead the menu. I'm not sure who was managing the flyer vs the menus, but we feel cheated with. I only found out when guests from my table returned from the restroom and reported they went to the wrong room and didn't recognize any of the people there. To say Larkfield is a well-oiled machine would be an understatement. From start to finish our daughter's wedding could not have been more perfect. Starting with Marie, an exceptional Maître D', but more important an exceptional human being, who made sure the service was incomparable. My guests could not stop raving about her. My husband, who is visually impaired and always very nervous in new surroundings, could not have been in better hands. Marie was compassionate and patient with him and he was at ease the entire night. Fellipé and Darlin were attentive in their Bridal Attendant duties and could not have been lovelier to us. Your wait staff was phenomenal and my guests are still amazed that every time they came back to their seat their napkin had either been refolded or replaced with a clean one...they kept the drinks flowing at the tables and were so thoughtful and caring in their service. Recently attended Larkfield for a friend's wedding and was treated to an evening of fun and reverie. The wedding party, and guests, was bilingual and thus the ceremony and service were suited to match. The grounds are lovely and well maintained. There is a fountain on one of the paths to the garden. The decor is nice and the staging, while not Gotham Hall, was thoughtful and appropriate. Larkfield hosts multiple events at a time so be aware of this, if booking this place. When we first arrived, there wasn't any signage for my friend's event and thus we ended up roaming a bit. There were no staff members to ask for directions aside from the valet-- and they had no information to provide. Also, at one point during my friend's ceremony in the garden, we could overhear some members of another event being extra jubilant. Luckily this was quieted down but I think I'd be upset about that if it were my event. The food for the cocktail hour seemed endless and it was delicious and hot for the taking, buffet style. The four course dining service during the reception was filling, well seasoned and high quality. Service was friendly and welcoming. The master of ceremonies kept the mood jovial and organized. Lots of dancing, clapping and singing along was encouraged for my friend's celebratory evening! I am certain the couple had a lovely time and I certainly left Larkfield on cloud nine.
