Unpacking childhood traumas and attachment injuries that have only become more complex with time and age (while trying to ensure I don't perpetuate any of that on my children/friends/family) is a hard endeavor to undertake, but I feel so secure and safe doing that work with Claribel. The guidance and work these youth receive is critical on so many levels. It's nice that when I walk into an appointment I'm known by name in so many people. The police department is amazing! We did so many trainings with them and worked side by side, it just great! Thier are many questions and unanswered one's Of why I no longer work thier. Seriously am at a loss for words and my heart as well. This is a great place to be and work!

The person was missing toothbrush, brush, deodorant and any other toiletry you can imagine one would have, but they sent this person with nothing. The person was discharged with a big black garbage bag filled with dirty clothes. This person did not come with one clean outfit. So during covid they thought it was appropriate to send a child with only dirty clothes because they said it was not "his laundry day". This person being picked up was being picked up by someone from out of state (which was well known) and by three people. It was very disappointing that they would allow all those dirty clothes during covid and very surprising that they would not want to make a better impression. Also, sad they would not put all his health needs and others health needs as a priority.

I was given great recommendations about this establishment for my elderly mother's counseling…read moreservices. The nurse practitioner she saw was wonderful BUT...counseling staff leaves much to be desired. A month ago I was told someone would call to schedule counseling appointments for my mother. That did not happen. No contact from them. I have called several times, left voicemails with correct contact information and even stopped in in person. I was assured I would get a callback that day. That did not happen. I will now explore other counseling options. Very upsetting to an elderly patient with mental health needs. I would NOT recommend this place for a loved one in need of counseling services. Med management services are good but follow up patient care appears non-existent.

Hello, I experienced an Acute Manic Episode which was…read moreapparently beyond the understanding, competence and comprehension of a provider I had been seeing here. For having the name Northern Psychiatric Associates, it it unbelievable how a manic episode was left untreated, unrecognized, undiagnosed and resulted in many hardships for myself & others. I ended up finding a much more comprehensive provider at a different local psychiatric treatment facility who immediately correctly diagnosed my disorder and provided extremely successful pharmacological treatment. Northern Psychiatric Associates seemed to simply prescribe a plethora of unsuccessful medications instead of actually helping me with my issues. Also, I attempted individual counseling at Northern Psychiatric Associates which resulted in a very uncomfortable experience involving a far from compassionate & judgmental counselor rendering myself to end the individual counseling process after only a single session. I would not recommend Northern Psychiatric Associates to anyone whom would like to be diagnosed & treated correctly, with compassion and/or anyone whom expects competence or empathy from a treatment provider. Thank you for considering my review before making the important decision to get help with your psychiatric disorder or problem(s).
