Bouldering was with the aforementioned incredible windows

So we all know starting something new can be really scary and intimidating. My mentor said I need to find a hobby that keeps me both active and helps me become more social. I've always wanted to try climbing and so I went out on a limb because the Front looked really cool. I signed up for their intro to climbing class. Yes the gym is cool, yes, there is a ton of cool facilities, yes, there is an auto belay and free weights and a yoga studio and tons of windows so you get vitamin C/D, and can beat seasonal depression. But the best part was my instructor Chase. I always forget to leave reviews, but because of him and his encouraging, motivating, welcoming, informative class I have been climbing for almost a month and am having an incredibly great time. If you're scared to get in to climbing, please take the class. Additionally, the rest of the staff has been kind and helpful too! I'm just shouting out Chase because of my exceptional experience with him..

    About to attack that wall.

I came here on a friends buddy pass, which they can use once a month. I loved it. Its been a long time since I have been bouldering and that was the main reason why we went. There are tons of options as far as ways you can workout. They have a gym, boulder walls, rock walls, and tons of other options. Its your ultimate gym really. I thought everyone who worked here was awesome. There was a weird technical glitch in the system as far as memberships go but the worker was really patient with us and we got it all figured out. They also have this awesome, MASSIVE dog that walks around, so thats pretty cool. The only thing that I think is wrong is that it is a little bit pricey for those of us who want to go climbing frequently. With $20 a day and like $60 a month for a membership, I can't afford to go here. If they would create some sort of deal or group deals (other than their immediate family one) that would be great. Overall a great place if you're looking to go climbing like once a month.

When I arrived, a class was already in progress, so I assumed it was the 10:00 a.m. class running a little late. I checked in, but the girl at the front desk didn't give me any guidance or explain that the class in progress was actually the 11:00 class. I sat in the waiting area for about 15 minutes before going back to the front desk to ask if the class currently going on was the 11:00 class. She responded, "Oh yeah, I was wondering what you were doing over there." It would have been very helpful if she had told me when I checked in that the class already in progress was the 11:00 class and that I was supposed to join it. Because that wasn't communicated, I missed a significant portion of my first class.

I showed up on time to a 4:30pm class, forgot my special Pilates socks, and I'm told by Megan at the front desk, I will be charged a $20 No Show fee, even though I'm present. I had to buy a pair of socks for $16 or go home to get them. I did, and now I'm 10 min late, and Megan at the front says she can't let me in the class, if you are more than 5 min late. Unbelievable! I appreciate Pilates and it's been a long horrific road healing a leg break, but if your life is not exactly the same, with the exact same schedule, no changes w family or something happens that's different in your schedule, you will make a mistake and stack up fees. You have to buy the $199 unlimited pass or you won't get into classes. So it's $199+ fees, so it's actually quite expensive. Club Pilates is all about business & getting sign ups, and charging fees, versus a focus on health and wellness of people. Megan was nasty and being present should not invoke a $20 No Show fee. Instructors have been moved around and brand new ones have started which have caused minor injuries, like strains, since they don't explain or provide detailed instructions or alternative movements or work an area or muscle too hard. Best instructors like Morgan, Cheryl, Kylie, Shelly, are rarely there. I'm letting the owner know, this business model sucks!! It's not flexible and humans do make mistakes. Update: I asked to speak with management, at the club and by email, and instead they communicated by suddenly cancelling my membership & 2 weeks of bookings by text! Without a conversation! I asked for a refund as I no longer have access to classes I paid for, and they did not provide one. Do not support this greedy owner!
