The gym is very clean, up to date, the equipment is friendly to use, towels are provided (cold ones too, which are amazing after breaking a sweat!!). I used my free consultation with Justin and he was wonderful! He pushed me even when I wanted to tap out! I know it was totally worth it and having someone to push you when you want to quit definitely helps! I look forward to going again tomorrow!! Other people kept moving back and forth between the treadmill and rower but I was never instructed when or how to do this. When my name did not show up on the treadmill she said I didn't sign out if the rower, ran back there and signed out for me. She then returned to her own workout before showing me how to sign in and out so the issue persisted. When there is a new client, assign a coach and walk them through the work out. Teach them the routine, and explain the various steps. Don't just wave at a machine and tell them "just do that". I can do that at home or Vasa. I won't be back.

we started this trail early at 7:15 and ended back in the parking lot around 9:30. we did the…read moreWaterfall Canyon loop with the goal of seeing the waterfall. we used all trails but the trail that starts up the mountain to see the waterfall was not mapped on all trails even though we selected that hike on there. the trail starts where you loop to go back to the parking lot so and we almost missed it. it was probably around 3 miles total. go earlier and bring a water bottle for sure as it's a steeper incline as you hike up all the rocks and it will leave you out of breath and sweaty especially as the sun starts to rise higher. the view is so worth it at the top and going down was easy but just be careful of loose rocks.

Golds Gym was great because of three things. 1) nice gym, 2) people, 3) local business owners who cares. EOS Fitness is a corporation that does not care about you. They just want your money. VASA is the same way. The only advantage that EOS has is it is at least clean. VASA is disgusting and the employees at VASA are horrible. The gym is called EOS Fitness, the payment processing company is called ABC Financial, and the website for your EOS account is myiclubonline. 3 different names for one company. I moved recently and had to cancel. I gave them my 30 days notice as per agreement signed. So I cancel 8/19/19 and expect my last day to be @ September 17th. Nope, they are going to charge me on September 14th for the full amount for another month so my contract will not terminate till October 14th. They stated that since my auto monthly renewal falls into the next 30 days notice I am expected to give they will charge me again for a full month. I asked them to please pro rate it as I want my contract terminated in 30 days. They said no it will terminate on October 14th which is @ 56 days after I requested cancellation. So they are crooks, liars, and have no integrity. The previous local Golds owners that used to own the Gym would never has done this. Stay clear of EOS and VASA. I hope 24hr Fitness or Snap Fitness is better than this. read more

The facility has all of the latest and greatest exercise equipment. From 2 huge sets of dumbbells to every type of fitness machine imaginable. Not to forget the Cave, which will hammer your legs with all the options it has. I really like the many media choices that EOS has throughout the gym on the several monitors hanging. The one thing that I really appreciate are the members. I don't feel judged at all! The people that you know have been committed to health and fitness for many years have been willing to answer any question that I've had. That is a great feeling and makes it very easy to walk through doors each workout! The staff is awesome! But I do have my favorite. I elected to get PT when I joined. I felt I needed someone to keep me motivated and focused on my fitness and health goals. It goes with out saying Don Johnson, the fitness manager, paired me with the best, Tessa Fiet. Tessa is very knowledgeable on health and fitness training and has an exceptional ability to customize workouts based on an individual's health and fitness goals. Thank you EOS! read more

My husband and I were looking for a positive gym experience, where we didn't feel like we were the only folks in the building that actually had weight to lose. We had looked at Vasa gym and then went to this Eos. From the moment we walked in the door, the experience we had at Eos was leaps and bounds better. The customer service was awesome! Needless to say, we signed up with the gym and have both been doing personal training for about 4 months. I've been working with Chris and he's great! He's very knowledgeable about nutrition, health and exercise and has been a huge asset to my weight loss and body transformation efforts. Although the gym is a little smaller than Vasa it still has everything in regards to equipment, classes, cinema, showers, etc that you'd want. I'd highly recommend this gym. I've been going to this location for years and have always enjoyed working out there. The staff is friendly and able to answer questions as well as help you out. I hurt my back last year and wasn't able to afford physical therapy that's when I talked to Don about getting a trainer to help with my back. He introduced me to my trainer Chris who has helped me improve my strength for my back as well as all of my other muscles. Chris always is helping me improve my technique as well as showing me new ways to workout. Thanks to him my back feels better much stronger then it did before. I also started to learn boxing from Rebecca one of the other trainers there really awesome person. I recommend this gym to anyone who is looking for a good place to work out read more

I started going to EOS in Layton with a friend. Everytime I went in this gym I felt a sense of community. The staff and the owner was amazing! I saw how they treated my friend and I thought about joining. I had joined VASA a few years back but I never really did much more than the treadmill because I didn't know where to start. I didn't feel a connection with the trainers there either. I decided to join EOS and Brandon and Don got me hooked up with a trainer. I am so grateful because I love my trainer! Tessa, my trainer listened to my chronic pain issues and develop a plan with me to help me achieve my goals. If I could give Cameron, one of the trainers, 10 stars I would! Making the decision to get healthy/fit & join a gym was easy compared to trying to figure out what to do/where to begin with all of the equipment! I decided to try a personal trainer and I could not have asked for better than Cameron!!! At 6pm he's as fresh as 9am & he's patient, thorough, he explains the mechanics of the workouts, he demonstrates them, he's energetic and he's just full of great energy!! I come to Utah to visit family and when I do this is the gym that I pick. I was most impressed by the new GM. She is friendly, energetic, and makes you feel comfortable with the changes that are going on. EOS Fitness was very smart in promoting her to GM. I think that after they replace most of the equipment this gym will be 5 stars. I give 4 stars for the new GM and minus 1 star for the broken, outdated equipment. I have absolutely loved working out with Tessa. She has pushes me every time I work out and even out of the gym she motivates me to eat well and work out on my own. As for the facility, I really like it! I also have a gym membership at VASA and I have enjoyed EOS better because the equipment is easier to use and organized in an easy to find manner. Super clean, friendly gym. 2 full racks of dumbbells, tons of free weights and cardio machines for days. Dedicated room for powerlifting with racks, platforms and bumper plates. EOS helped me sort out a billing issue from golds gym, I had randomly been billed 107$ and I had cancelled my Golds membership a year ago, The manager Mindy called me and figured everything out, since it was billed from EOS and not Golds, she was able to refund me and cancelled my membership that apparently was never cancelled, great service! read more

This gym is my favorite I've joined. I work nearby, and go on my lunches. The employees are great, and the trainers are very friendly and knowledgeable. I joined VASA in Ogden (in addition to EOS) so that I could swim a couple of times a week-VASA's amenities are rarely out of service, I saw the steam room down for one day, once. EOS was doing better...For about 6 months none of the stuff in the pool area was broken. So, I quit VASA. A couple of months later, it's just as bad or worse than it was before! I halfway suspect that they just don't want to pay the (heating) utilities so they just turn stuff off!

Everything about this gym's equipment is just genuinely old and crummy. I mentioned to management that their pool is unbearably cold. The kids that were getting in the pool (on several occasions) were getting blue lips and it just seemed to get colder as the months went on and my youngest refused to get in anymore. Old people would get in the pool and just say, "Sure is miserable, isn't it?" Management told me that the pool temp was optimal and that basically I just need to deal with it. A week later they are replacing a water pump in the pool. It's just a really disrespectful management atmosphere. My husband's father died and we were going to be out of state for two weeks and since this gym is SO expensive, I asked if we could get some sort of refund or credit while we were gone. They told me "no sorry" and that was it. I told them that I have never had a gym treat death in a family so lightly and how cruel that is. It was only after having to remind them to treat people right that they decided maybe they could put our account on hold for two weeks. Like, how on earth have they gotten that low that they weren't willing to offer that without hesitation initially? Very unfortunate and just so cocky. This gym is SOOOOOO much more expensive than any gym in the area and just doesn't make sense how they can be so cocky and rude when their gym really is the oldest and crummiest gym I've ever been to. Their classes are pretty good but the yoga room is so cramped that it makes class squishy a lot and the speakers in the room are so old that they break a lot. It's really something. I think young moms get taken advantage of the most because a one-year-old that can be in the kids' club for an hour costs just as much as a 17-year-old child that could go to the gym all day, every day. I'm planning on going to the Marshall White Center that's opening back up soon and I think a lot of young moms will come with me because this gym is WAY too expensive for what you actually get out of the facility.

I've been going to OAC for about 4 years, none of the equipment is the same brand, size, or similar in quality. It's a dated gym and half the time, machines or equipment are broken. When they do repair they its usually very poor quality. It's a very dated gym and the average cost of a membership is about 50% more than local gyms. It takes a long time for equipment to be repaired and they have more "don't do this" signs than anything I've ever seen. Things like, "dont use your phone" "don't wear sandals" Dont move this, don't move that etc. I really enjoyed the members, everyone is very nice and super friendly. The only real upside is that the kid care is AWESOME. The staff is very friendly, and they have a free area where older kids can just chill and watch movie. Great for the summer. They always have different crafts for the kids to do too. That's why they get 2 stars not 1.
