Worst DJ EVER. We gave him a shot for an hour. Horrible.
    Tony W.

Went on a Saturday night ant it was packed. The people that were at the bar were all nice and the staff as well. We just did not like the DJ at all. Most his music was all music that felt relevant 10 years ago. I would go back to this place if they had a new DJ but if this guy is still there I would no go.

This place was a fantastic alternative to the clubs in downtown. Fun crowd, nice staff, and excellent music!

It is rare that you crave going to a "bar" to dance instead of drink but DJ Dirty Duke is all of the inebriation you will need.

A lot of straight Women come here to feel safer than most other clubs/bars, but that also does bring in the straight men who want to take advantage or pick up queer Women hoping they'll have a threesome with another Woman, instead of respecting boundaries and human beings. A diverse crowd of sexualities is available here Security has been doing better recently about safety. They have 3-4 security guards constantly walking the premises. There are 3 different music dance rooms with different genres. Typically it's a white music room (Katy Perry and Black eyed peas, Justin Timberlake), Black music room (T pain, Jay Z, Megan Thee Stallion, and a mixed room (Rhianna, Pitbull, Shakira, Bad Bunny, Lady Gaga, Cardi B) . As well as a pool/arcade area and the drag room with the stage. The music could be updated to not play republican or abusive artists like Kanye and Nicki Minaj They do not tolerate underage drinking at all, so don't even try it here. If you under age drink at home and come drunk, you will not get in. They have different nights for different events, but you can always find fun no matter the night. The drag is my favorite part, there is a diverse cast with rotating talent, they do have a regular set base cast as well. Mercedes is the GOAT. she's incredible. The gay 90s sets out to create a truly inclusive space for everybody, despite race, gender, disability or sexuality. Straight men looking to take advantage, often visit here so just keep an eye out for them. You'll notice they travel alone or in packs of two they also keep to the edges sometimes. Keep an eye out for each other ladies and thems. People do get drugged here occasionally, but over all not as much as other places. The bathrooms are surprisingly not gross, there is good privacy and 3 different locations.

The place is huge and smack in heart of downtown Minneapolis. There are street and parking ramp options. The Armory holds events other than concerts. Take a look at your personal calendar, see if there is a show you like, and buy a ticket. *Hint - if you can, go to their on-site box office to buy your tickets, so you save on the online fees). My friends have been in the suites, and they say they are great. There is, also, and small outside spot to grab some fresh air, so you do not have to exit the venue. Pros: - The place is huge, clean, and easy to get to - The sound system is great - When the crowd is really into it, you can feel the ground shake! Cons: - Some shows can be pretty expensive

Staff is very professional and friendly, and the premium options are not crowded. The Generals Hall has a large balcony in the back of the venue that gives you a clear line of sight of the stage. In the GA areas, both sides of the armory are lined with bartenders so the wait isn't that long for getting a drink. There is concession-style food available.
