This was unexpectedly positive experience, especially for the price!!!! This hotel is approximately 20 minutes from the local airport. Located in a "residential " area and along the water. Upon our late arrival we were immediately greeted by the staff with a welcome drink. It was a freshly pressed spicy juice. The drink hit the spot on a super warm humid day. Plus we received hand towels to cool down. While we sat they checked us in. Afterwards we were informed of the amenities onsite and about the property. The hotel offers a lot of free perks that includes boat rides to their sand bar plus usage of kayaks or paddleboards. Plus they offer snacks from 3-4 pm and happy hour with very discounted drinks, buy one-get one, off a special menu. The hotel has a lovely pool that overlooks the water. Within the room, there are additional perks that include a free tote bag, bandannas, snacks each night and juices within the fridge. What a treat. The room is simple but super clean. We had a small Juliet balcony where you could see sunrises. Our room consisted of two beds that could be made as one. It was nice that the hotel offered to change the room format. The room has a big shower with decent water pressure. The AC was nice as it kept the room cool. The room had a fridge for our complimentary drinks and treats. Lastly the room had a small open closet with slippers and a safe. The room had everything that we could need, including a kettle with local coffee. The staff were amazing at the hotel. Staff was very sweet and pleasant. They always sought ways to help. As for swimmable beach: hotel is on a mangrove so swimming is limited. Area better for boating and seeing amazing sunsets. For the price this hotel is a win! This hotel is a good return on value!!! read more
