They even informed me to not pack or do any lifting (compared to last time when the movers showed up with inadequate equipment and I also had to help lift). They were also very responsive. Previously they never responded and I had to hound them due to inactivity on their end (I got my flight booked less than three days prior to my start date). This time, they responded in a few hour and were actually helpful. The planning was much better this time. They got me my flight a month in advance and all matters such as packing and car shipping were done prior to the flight (unlike last time where there were obviously no effort or care on Altairs part). There was an issue with an accessibility attachment I requested for my rental car that Altair still claims they paid for, but the rental car agency claims was not paid for. No effort was put in to remedy it but it is what it is. Overall, massive improvements. Altair, specifically Laura, was extremely attentive, professional, and courteous.

Sean Duncan did nothing to help me. He did not review the audit paperwork for me or go to bat with the IRS. In fact, he quoted me over $1000 to complete the audit documentation the IRS required! I consulted with 2 other CPA's and 1 financial adviser and all of them said the same thing... SMD reported the mileage in the wrong way and should have known better. SMD should have completed the audit documentation without charging me anything. They made a dumb mistake that cost me dearly then left me to fend for myself. SMD makes Turbo Tax look good!
