If you want games that come in boxes, this place seemed to have a great selection. I would not bother to go there for Pokemon cards due to bad binder behavior. No sleeves !!! I have spent a ton of money on expensive full art or classic cards.... I would never shop here for Pokemon. My son got 1 card in pretty crap /well-played condition for about a dollar. I have been to plenty of hobby stores and never have seen cards organized the way they have it set up. No sleeves. Many cards in one binder slot. Service was odd we waiting for someone to get out of the bathroom for about 5 minutes before being helped. read more

Great selection of games arranged nicely so you can easily see the main games and all their expansion packs / themed spin-offs. The prices are competitive, at times even beating the price that you'll find on Amazon for the same item. They also pack an impressively complete selection of items for the size of their shop, stacked from wall to wall with items to buy that cover everything from cards to social games to collectibles to board games and more! Definitely worth a visit if you're in the area, or if you're looking for a great place to find gifts for birthdays or the holidays. read more

Unless you're under the age of six, I would not recommend going to the gaming goat. I took in a rather large assortment of magic and Pokémon cards, hoping to learn a little bit more about the game and maybe get some money back. The person at the front of the store was extremely uninviting extremely unknowledgeable. He actually ended up, scamming me for most of my cards saying none had value. I was offered five dollar store credit for a lot of cars that looked at after the further research would've ran me well over $200 for the whole lot. Of course, now being a little bit more into the trading card community, this is not the way to treat people who don't understand the value of their items. Absolute scammers didn't even have any sealed product in stock. Felt like me coming into the store and being there literal only customer of the day was the employees biggest headache yet. Please God find a different card shop. read more

If you love board games or card games, you'll enjoy this place. The employees are very interactive and friendly. Our group had never been here before. While we explored the shelves of table top games, we asked if there were any sample games we could play. Right away, we were invited to play and learn a quick board game by an employee. How fun! Tsuro: a board game about creating a path by placing a tile and sliding a marker. Learning curve was one minute. Playing time with six people was 15 minutes. You'll have to check it out for yourself or just ask to play and learn a different board game! I saw adults and kids in this shop, which is a great ice breaker between age barriers, or if you are just looking to have fun with friends! The employees are lowkey rude. They don't ever seem like they want to help you or seem interested in what they do. Now when I try to go, I keep it quick because they make it seem like I'm a bother. They seem bored or depressed whenever I go in there. It seems like they WANT everyone in and out and aren't much for conversation. I feel like they kind of talk to their customers like they're dumb for not knowing everything about games or cards. It's sucks because they have good prices but I feel uncomfortable whenever I go in there. read more

Absolutely terrible customer service, walk in and the single associate was sitting at a table stuffing his face with pizza. Then asked what he could help with, told him Pokémon cards and he said what was I looking for I stated again Pokémon cards, he said yea but what kind. They have little to no Pokémon cards, after finding a card out of the slim pickings that were there. I paid for it he handed me the card with no top loader, which the card was displayed in. So you can purchase a 50 dollar card and not get a 30 cent top loader? I've bought thousands of dollars of cards at multiple places and have never dealt with this behavior. Will not being coming back and don't recommend anyone else coming here either. Btw the parking in the area is horrendous. read more

I know Saturday is a busy time, especially for the younger kids playing Pokémon, just ventured in to view the prices on several board games I was interested in... but no prices on them. No prices on any items... no time to ask because sole worker there was too involved with the kids... how can one shop around if no prices are on anything... didn't want to wait in line for ten minutes or more just to ask pricing.. just kind of odd? read more

The guys who own this place are so friendly! My fiance and I stopped in here on a whim, and I'm happy we did! He found a game he had been looking for, and saw several other new ones that he was unaware of. The prices are better than Amazon (yes, I checked haha). He has a sale table, and they have an events calendar too. Really happy we got to support these guys, and definitely plan to again in the future! They cater to kids, adults, and people like me who aren't even big into games. I still saw lots of ones that looked like they would be fun to play! read more

Stopped in when it was kind of slow and the guy working the counter sat down and played a few of the demo games with me. Had a great time and ended up buying one of the games we played. Things got busy after 5, apparently they have regular game nights. If i lived closer I would try to attend these as it seems like a great way to find new games and people to play them with. read more

Happened to find this place while visiting Elmhurst on our way back from O'Hare. I'm definitely a fan of all the board game places opening up! They had a wide variety of games and great service. I recommend a stop if you're a fan of card and board games. read more

The kids and I are here almost daily. Mainly to play pokemon. We have met some of the coolest people here and we all have made some, what i could actually call friends. The guys Dane and Tom are some the best people. When you need anything from Pokemon to a certain set of dice, this is your shop!!! read more

This place is the best! A line of interesting products keeps me walking in, always finding something I failed to notice before. Prices are pretty good, nothing to drive me away from a purchase. The staff are also super helpful, knowledgeable, and personable (shoutout to Dane and Tom)! Overall this place is great, definitely will be coming here for a while! read more

Great place, great prices! Owner is fantastic and took his time explaining things to me so I could understand what would be the best purchase for my child.
