Grilled kielbasa

Here's the. Scoop: Ordered a fabulous salad and oh my it was filled to the brim. Chock full of Mesclun Greens, red onion, cucumber, roasted chicken, bacon, croutons, hard boiled eggs, cherry tomatoes, with blue cheese dressing. Oops and let's not forget the black olives. Delicious and healthy. If you're hangry for some good food prepared your way check out the garage. Open for breakfast and lunch only. Portions are large and prices are reasonable. I'm enjoying this lovely salad.

Boars head cold cuts. Made to order sandwiches and salads, plus burgers, pizza and assorted hot food. Good spot for breakfast and lunch. No waiter service, it's a counter service situation. Good selection of beverages as well. Ample seating as well. Overall a solid spot for grab a quick lunch or breakfast.

UPDATE: Thank you Don for calling me and rectifying my order. I appreciate it! Got delivery to the office. Order was wrong. Asked for whole wheat wrap with full eggs (with yokes), got whole grain, egg whites. Did get my extra chicken though. Still, never again. Check the picture. "WW" is whole wheat abbreviated.

Plenty of home fries to an order.

Each time I have been here has been nothing less than wonderful experience.. The garage is a seriously hopping food establishment "old world cafeteria style" that offers a variety of just about everything. It's big, bright, spacious, (plenty of tables for in house eating) and comes with a very friendly and helpful staff. From the Tuna salad to the egg sandwich to the salads, they were perfect. Well stuffed sandwiches, always fresh. You can get anything here, Pizza, hot foods, colds foods and salads, fresh soups, and... they cater for the office. You can order one of their 'named' sandwiches or there is enough of a selection of meats, and salads to design your own. You step up to a counter where one of 25 people offer to help you. They defiantly get you in and out. You pick up your own beverage (hot or cold) and proceed to the cashier. Today, while I was having my egg sandwich they came by with a tray of cookies for dessert. In all my times at dinners and delicatessens, no one has ever offered my a cookie, and it was a really good oatmeal raisin cookie. I really need to come here more often... Brief update 7-7-2016: Today I finally purchased a "non-egg" sandwich. The chicken salad is outstanding.... Big chucks of chicken with some celery. The chicken is tasty and not floating in a sea of mayonnaise. I will definitely start trying more of the items,,, and there are plenty of them!

$10 for this terrible sandwich

They have some big ones to charge $10 for this sandwich that took 25 minutes to make and was mostly bread. Barely any coldcuts on the hero. Last time i'm getting ripped off for shitty service and overpriced cheaply made shit food

The ordering area, just before the lunch crowd arrived.

I see your port and I raise you mine. Se-Port Delicatessen IS the standard. Your local deli has no…read moreright to even compare itself. It's so far ahead of all delis and sandwich spots you've been. This is Long Island's gem. Five stars only is an injustice. It's one of the country's finest spots. It's what George Washington hoped for when he crossed the Delaware. It's what Qin Shi Huangdi believed would come when he unified China. It's what Moses split the Red Sea for. If aliens really existed, they'd be spotted here. If I ate one a day I'd gain 2 pounds a day and that's fine. I wouldn't care. 400 lbs? Ok. Bring it on, I say. Don't test me. As I sit on the John - Delta forcing out a few nukes - I think to myself... oh what a wonderful world. What a wonderful world I live in that I could experience the (and a) Gasm. The Anthony Kay. The Steven Matz. The Boone. The list goes on and on. The amount of underwear I've gone through from ordering the Gasm. Worth it. The M&M cookies on the counter that look at me as if I'm the newest bombshell on the island... oggling and boggling baby. The rumor is these guys churn out millions of cutlets a year. And that's just for me. - Sidebar: Weak sauce LB. Weak. Don't fall into the dad jokes just yet. Don't embarrass me in front of my people. Don't do it. - Anyways. As a poor young man(not that my circumstances have changed) I used to save up my measly funds for just one sandwich on the weekend. It would consume me all week and then I'd consume it in mere minutes. Every time me and my rapscallion crew would come we'd be certain that we'd eat half there and then eat the half later or save the rest for the week. Others had self control to stick to the plan. But I did not. And I'm proud of that. I'm proud of the man I've become. But not proud enough. For one day... one day... I'll go to Se-Port and I'll order The Linguini B. Only on that day, will I be allowed to die. To escape the brilliance of the world and head to the distraction of darkness. Until then - There is much to do. People to influence. Persuasion to persuade. Lust to lunge for. Sandwiches to feast on. The glory of Se-Port. I live a tender distance from this master factory of a deli; however, it's one of the few pieces in this world worth traveling a ridonk distance for. I will walk the Whitestone Bridge to be reacquainted. I would slosh around in the sewage of the Sound to make my way to this Mecca. I am currently working on my masters in astrophysics solely with the purpose of conjugating and coagulating a way to build the first wormhole - From my bed, straight to the parking lot of Seport. Few failed attempts, so far, but thankfully I'm not self-testing. Don't report me. Jokes on you... I'm closer than you'd think. Well. I'm sure you get my notes in the mail, so I'll wrap this up. One day, my love. One day, again, as we had it before. You and me, on the water, whisking the waves with the palms our feet. Our luscious hair sweeping the wind. Stopping time with the strength of our shared gazes. Our hands interlocked, just like our shared destinies. Yours tenderly and truthfully - LB.

If I can do negative stars I would . So completely disappointed in you , John…read more Maple St. Deli has been a huge disappointment, especially considering it's within walking distance of my home. It's a quaint neighborhood deli with over 100 years of history, which is why I kept giving it chance after chance. I've ordered from this deli many times. They have frequently gotten my order wrong, but I never complained. I simply accepted it and moved on. On Father's Day, I ordered three egg sandwiches around 10:00 a.m. I arrived at 10:30 to pick them up and still waited another 15 minutes. After spending about $35, the order was wrong. Again, I let it go. Today was the final straw. I ordered two egg sandwiches and a small deli iced tea for delivery. The total was $33 before tip. The owner, John, delivered the order himself. He rang my Ring doorbell twice but never knocked. We completed the exchange without issue. When I opened the bag, the order was wrong--again. I called and politely asked to speak with the owner. I explained that my order had been made incorrectly. Instead of trying to resolve the issue, John hung up on me. I called back three more times, and each time either he or his staff hung up on me. I drove to the deli to speak with him face-to-face. His response was simply, "That's unfortunate," and he refused to remake the sandwiches or offer any refund or solution. Everyone makes mistakes. What separates a good business from a bad one is how those mistakes are handled. I wasn't angry about an incorrect sandwich--I was shocked by the complete lack of customer service, accountability, and basic respect. After years of overlooking mistakes and trying to support a local business, this experience has guaranteed I will never return. There are plenty of delis that appreciate their customers and stand behind their service. Unfortunately, Maple St. Deli isn't one of them.
