I had a very bad experience and like to share with who read it.
The representative I worked with was unprofessional, no knowledgeable and had a bad attitude.
I was told by a representative that my Anthem Blue Cross Blue Shield health insurance was not acceptable. In addition, the referral (with Dr. Scott Fulton) by my nurse practitioner (Premise Health in Health Wellness Center on campus) for the routine colonoscopy was twice ignored. The rep told me that I don't have any referral (I have confirmed with my nurse practitioner, and she faxed all required documents twice. She even talked with the office manager at TGG). Later, I was told I must go to their office to schedule the routine colonoscopy exam. The representative didn't mention there will be a charge and I asked.
I had an office visit with a nurse practitioner, Revell Deborah, at the Gastroenterology office in Akron, OH. She talked with me for less than 5 minutes before instructing me to schedule a routine colonoscopy exam. I later received a bill for $325. I was the only person in my company who had to do this and the only one to be charged. None of my colleagues referred by my nurse practitioner have even been charged.
