Maryland Food Bank thrives off of weekend volunteer hours for packers in their conveyor belt area to box canned goods and boxed foods as they'd otherwise have to bill these hours to payroll. I enjoyed myself and even got in a little cardio as the belt moved more and more foodstuffs through. I was in charge of canned veggies and boy were there lots of them. It was a good time and I can't wait to go back!

What was once a dependable, high-quality dry cleaner has turned into something I wouldn't trust with a rag. The change in ownership and management didn't just lower the standards--it destroyed them. I brought in shirts for a simple press and starch. What I got back was shocking. Burn marks on the collars and cuffs--actual damage that can't be undone. No starch whatsoever. And the "pressing"? Nonexistent. The shirts looked like they had been tossed in a dryer and handed back without anyone even bothering to check them. This isn't a mistake. This is carelessness and a complete lack of professionalism. Charging customers for this level of work is unacceptable. Save yourself the frustration and the cost of replacing your clothes. Stay far away from this place.
