Love this place and having been getting haircuts here since 2020. It's still in business, despite some setbacks, and giving professional haircuts. The interior is welcoming and accommodating. They apparently are no longer in operation although the appointment app still makes appointments (but the doors are locked, they don't answer the posted phone number, and they don't respond to email). I know owner Nikki had serious health issues earlier this year and I suspect she's no longer able to work. That's a real shame as it was a good shop and Nikki was nice and knew her stuff. But if she was going to close she should turn off the appointment app and put some notices on the phone and the web site. She wasted my time and I really needed the hair cut for a special occasion that evening. read more

This place screams whyte. My poor sweet husband had to come here last minute and omg I regret finding this place for him. He has the worst haircut I have ever seen. The woman basically gave him a buzz cut when he specifically said no buzz cut. She left Lydia Deetz style bangs and buzzcut all over the rest. I had to fix his front bangs part when he got home. Melanie was great!! It was my first time in and I did not know that appointments were needed (walk-ins are welcomed) but anyway Melanie was able to squeeze me in for a quick clean up and fade. Thank You Melanie. I like that they give you options, you can get your sides and back cut and cleaned up for $15.00 or you can get the top cut for additional $10.00. So if you like me who likes a cut every 2 weeks this is great. They also guarantee the cut, if you aren't happy with the cut just go back and they will fix it even if it's been a few days. The other great perks is that they give you a punch card. After your 10th cut you get the next one free, they also have adult beverages and non adult beverages. Barber was easily distracted, took several breaks to book other appointments during my session, and over all left way too much hair on my head. Could barely tell I had gotten a haircut. Rachelle did a nice job of restoring my faith and NOT giving me yet another same old same old "5minute franchise kutt" She asked open questions about the type of men's cut I wanted ... in my case I grew out to bushy & shaggy & needed a mature mens cut & beard reshaped... She patiently brought my mess back in order, spun me around, trimmed my 'Ole man ear fuzz, trimmed my beard & wow ! Dissappointed. Like the majority of other barbersops in town (and we've tried numerous) my 12 year old son got a pretty good haircut, but not what he asked for. He very specifically asked to have the top left alone so he could continue growing it out and for a low or understaded fade on the sides to clean things up, leave the sideburns. His mom also showed a picture! So instead we got the "standard" cut for his style...mid to high fade, blended up high, and shortened on the top with no sideburns! We all know the difficulty of finding a barber when you move to a new city, luckily I read a couple of yelp reviews of this place and decided to give it a try. Johnny was incredible! He is very good at what he does and is such a nice guy to chat with. I really love that they have a call ahead option! I highly recommend using this option so you don't have to just wait. Johnny was able to get my hair cut exactly how I wanted it, but also went above expectation. About a week after I noticed my beard was growing unevenly and went back in. Johnny wasn't available, but Rachelle was. She cleaned my beard up and even brought it in for me at no cost because it had been such a short time since I was in. Talk about great customer service! I am defiantly a regular and will always go to these incredible barbers for my hair cuts and beard trims. Did I mention how great the call ahead list is? read more

Best haircut I've ever had! I'll never go back to a franchise haircut again. What I like most is that she truly cares about how you look and takes her time to do it right. The first time I came here she explained how staggering the top length would make my thinning hair look fuller. ...and it made me look ten years younger!! I've been a regular ever since. The Gentleman's Den is also independent and locally owned and I feel good supporting the community simply getting a haircut. Businesses like this are what keeps America strong. If you just want a cheap haircut, then go to the strip mall with the $5 coupon that came in the mail. But you'll get what you pay for. I pay $17 and the quality is well worth it.
