My sons and I have been coming here going on three years. This is a family business where Mike, the owner, works with his two sons and occasionally his wife. All of them are outstanding barbers and good people as well. The haircuts are great, the price is reasonable, and of course even us big kids get a lollipop at the end. Also, no other place can you go to get a great cut, have some good conversation, and even get a free beer (21+) straight from their tap! Very busy now that things are mostly opened up. Treat customers more like cattle with no small town personal service which is available at many other locations in Ashland. Old barbershop facade but nothing like my Dad's time. Suffered thru several bad cuts trying to help an inexperienced guy learn the trade but he left. No reciprocal loyalty back to customers. This is in my opinion the best barbershop in Ashland. They are always friendly and give consistently great haircuts. The only complaint I have is sometimes you will go there and there will be a sign on the door saying closed for whatever reason. Once you see that sign you can only guess as too when they will be back open, it could be a day or it could be a whole weekend. read more
